Just popping in here as I get caught up on everyone's TR's!!
As I've told you, Michele, I think my all-time favorite Duffy photo is the one on top of Maleficent's head.
That is just too priceless!
Actually, my friend in Idaho (who has not been to DLR in 10 years) had no clue who Duffy was until I explained his story to her recently. I told her that several people on the DIS were embarking on photo missions featuring Duffy posing around DLR. I showed her my PhotoPass photos with Duffy in DCA and the Duffy display in DCA when I was there in December...and now she wants a Duffy! I can't believe how this bear has caught on!
Oh...and about proofreading...that's one of the things I do to earn money. I've done it in offices, for big and small companies, and also at home, for independent clients.
You're right - proofreading can get very tiring, exhausting and boring if you are reading a bunch of subjects that are not stimulating, and if that's all you do all day, every day. It's best to mix it up a little bit and do a bit of everything.
If you're reading interesting pieces like an outline for a movie script or an outline for a book, it can be an interesting job. If you are reading huge academic planning manuals or lengthy legal documents, it's not fun! Also, you sometimes have to deal with very tiny print or text that is smooshed together. It's not always laid out in a format that is easy to follow along with.
