Ohh if anyone had info on the turtle farm in Manzanillo please post it. That sounds better than anything Disney has posted. It is also the day of my ds's 4th birthday so we were thinking of just hanging out on the boat and swimming etc. Like someone else said, we are on a floating resort! That or just head over to a beach and just splash around in the water.

Another simple idea someone had was a book exchange. A laundry type bag was put outside of a cabin and people exchanged books. I know a lot of you have electronic books but some of us still bring paper copies and it was nice to be able to exchange books. Any interest? val

My Buckeyes won again as well. Looks like a big night when we leave Aruba. One week from tomorrow I leave for 3 nights at Old Key West, 7 nights on the Wonder, and 6 more nights back at Old Key West.

Have a wonderful time. I just love Old Key West!!

Dateline- Jacksonville, FL

Hit a couple really hard showers yesterday, but today the sun is out and glorious day. DH is under the weather so happy to stay in watching tv whilst I go out and about with my cousins.

Stopped at the Disney outlet at St. Augustine prime outlets. Bought a baby outfit for a friend's new grandbaby, and a new fleece coat (smaller size) at half price to replace the one I've shrunk out of that I bought in California in 2006.

Tomorrow, on the road again. Happy Day all!

Glad to hear all the good trip reports from the TA cruise. I had some dear friends on that trip and I am so happy your weather was great. They were so excited about the trip.

Postcards sound neat. I think I remember doing that before.

Does anyone know what company Tinksmom is using for the bracelets? There doesnt seem to be much interest in pursuing the poll for the option of the phrasing on the bracelet, and I dont really care for the wording as it is now, so I would rather order my own. I really like the phrase that the creator of the lanyards is using in fact. So if anyone knows which bracelet company Tinksmom was going to use, or if you know a good company from a previous cruise, please let me know. I did some searching on my own and found a couple where you can order even just 1 bracelet for yourself for less than $3, but its always good to hear a referral from someone who has used another company. For anyone else who is interested in customizing bracelets with your names or your own preferred phrase, once I figure it out I'll post here so you have the info as well.

My family will be flying into Orlando in a few weeks (both of our DS have a fall break from college). We are renting a car and then driving up the FL coast and staying one night in St Augustine and then move on to Disney's HHI (DVC) for a couple of nights. The flights to Savannah, closest to HHI were terribly high. I found a good rate to MCO so we're going to actually SEE Florida for once. My view of FL has mostly been Orlando and Port Canaveral which isn't a bad thing but I think there might be more to see!
Anyways, I saw you mentioned a Disney outlet in St. Augustine? Where is it and what kind of things do they have? I'm not familiar with any Disney outlets. Also, do you have any tips of things to do in the area?

You won't see much of real Florida from the interstate!

Prime outlets is next to I95 at St Augustine - I think the exit is 318. The disney outlet has overstocked and discontinued items - might be good, might not. Depends what you want.

Google St. Augustine or Jacksonville - there is Tons of stuff to do. We liked the Jacksonville zoo and botanical garden, Ft Caroline - I think it was, the St Augustine light house (free for military and retired military) - Ponce Inlet Lighthouse in Daytona

In Georgia, we've liked one of the islands - St Simons? There was a turtle sanctuary. The mighty 8th museum (only for WW2 and military history fans). Savannah is wonderful.

I somewhat agree with your statement about the green achieving the DISer recognition, but at the same time for this since it is a special cruise, I'm more interested in having a commemorative bracelet with meaningful phrasing on it unique to this PC Cruise as opposed to just being DISer green, which is why I want it to say what I want it to say. Just like with the tshirts, everyone is customizing his/her own to their own preferences, since its more about commemoration for some of us than recognition.

I have never felt so unprepared for a vacation in my life! I am usually such a planner---heck I have our 20th wedding anniversary trip to Australia all planned out---and that won't happen for another 5 years and 5 days

Under pressure at work---the end of the Fiscal Year you know---moving from my cube that I have sat in since 1996---to a smaller one no less! DH had a job interview---1 in 2 shot at a promotion---please send good vibes! I start in his office tomorrow---on an open-ended detail! I had to explain to my team old members how to run a project--they looked like deer caught in headlights! Sigh.

Besides being PIF on this cruise and having SWA tickets back to MD from LA, I hopefully have 2 rental cars with Budget. Still no hotel nights pre or post cruise and no theme park tickets also no limo/towncar rented from the port in LA to Disneyland. Also, clothes need to be altered, FE gifts need to be gathered, SM gifts as well,and more!!!! There are also a few holidays before the cruise that require some work and thought. Anyone out there know how to clone oneself?!

At midnight on the 8th I can book excursions---I can't get my poor husband to look at all of the choices! He is sooooo worried about something happening in Mexico and I keep trying to reassure him.

I've also been distracted by something called an Amazon Kindle! We sold 1,000 books out of our home library this past summer---we do have 1/3 of a room left! Many dupes---we were both history majors! Did you know that the Kindle holds 3,500 books?! Wow!

If I didn't value my sleep-time I'm sure I could get a whole lot more accomplished!

We loved Mazatlan in 2005. We did the tequila tour that went to LaNoria. It was an unexpected highlight of the cruise...
Wish we were going back to Mazatlan than Manzanillo!

Not sure about a link, but pm A Little Pixie Dust with your info, name and how many you want to order. She is going to distribute them either at the meet before the cruise or on the ship, pay for them then. If you need it earlier, let her know and she will let you know how much to add for postage. They are $1.50 each. Hope this helps.

I have ordered from Say It Bands in the past. They have no minimum to order, and they are having a sale right now:

1-4 - $3.99/each
5-9 - $2.49/each
10-19 - $1.79/each
20-39 - $1.29/each
40-59 - $0.99/each

There are higher increments, but you get the idea.

For a WDW trip a few years ago, I ordered 2 bands from them when DS & DD were toddlers (1 blue, 1 pink). I had our cell numbers printed on them, in case the children got lost. I plan to do the same for this cruise, but plan to order lime green for the Dis connection. Debating if I should have the cabin number printed in addition to the cell numbers, as I'm not sure the cells will always work.

I'll be ordering them for the adults in my party as well, although no phone numbers necessary...well, maybe for DH

Definitely thinking of putting something DCL & PC related on the adult bands.
