It's Captain Henry. When we were on the Wonder in August we asked if he was taking the ship through the canal and he said "Yes!" :woohoo:

DCL guest Services couldn't confirm that. In fact they said they only had the Captain's Schedules through Oct 23rd. :confused3

Could (pretty please) someone with a concierge level room maybe ask through their concierge contact? See if we can confirm it that way.

I would like to get this info confirmed by DCL so that it is correct on the certificates.

Thanks

Do what you will. All I will say is, not like your team will beat us this year. I give you guys a decent shot to beat us next year though.
To be quite honest I'm not much into college football although I do follow it and try to get to one game per season. Where I am a fanatic, however, is college hockey. My wife and I are die-hard true maize+blue supporters of Michigan Hockey.
3Cstuart - HOW did you find that out? I can barely remember the names of my previous cruise directors. onewas austrailian -maybe...oh i cnat remember. well one was clayton....
I just asked him. He said he's up in Alaska previewing the excursions for the Wonder's cruises up there and will be on the Wonder in January.
Christain was the CD on the 08 PC cruise- When we were on the TA there were rumors that Clayton would be the one on the PC- I guess we will have to wait and see.
I'm telling you I just got a message from him - directly - about it. So, I figure he knows what he's doing. I prefer Christiaan way more than Clayton (Hollywood).
Speedy? No.... timely, usually. You won't get room service in 10 minutes. But it's usually within an hour. Usually
That's accurate.

Hours of Operation: Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. EST
Sat. and Sun. 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. EST

I just called the number listed above as was able to put money on for an on board credit. Also the nice young lady I talked to told me that day 3 & 14 are formal, day 10 is semi formal and day 11 is Pirate Night.

No info on CD or Captain.

DONT LAUGH.... Is the day you get on the ship counted as day 1? :rolleyes1

Well, made it back safe and sound to MI and boy is FL hot and humid. But, the puppy delivery went well and everyone is super happy.

Alan - DH will join you to watch any OSU related sporting activities that can be found anywhere. He loves his Bucks. And, since I work with a UofM fan, I love dishing out any grief I can. Sometimes I have to take some as well but not too often of late.

Dry Wipe Board Group - if you said you wanted to participate and have not received an email from me - shoot me a PM please. I am missing a few responses.

OK, guess that is about all I know or that is new with me. I wish all of you TA folks lots of sun and fun and very smooth seas.

DONT LAUGH.... Is the day you get on the ship counted as day 1? :rolleyes1

I believe so. From DCL website...

Day 1 – Embarkation Day
Cast off on Thursday from Port Canaveral and voyage east into the heart of the Caribbean, a popular haunt for pirates centuries ago. During the start of your journey, be a part of the exciting Adventures Away! Sail-Away Celebration deck party, where you and your family can dance to party songs along with Disney Characters and Crew Members.

Day 2
Arrive at Disney's private island hideaway, Castaway Cay, on Friday. Reserved for Disney Cruise Line Guests, Castaway Cay boasts white-sand beaches for sunbathing, swimming and various activities for everyone in the family—including snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, biking, spa services and Character Greetings.

Day 3 and Day 4
Saturday and Sunday are spent at sea, making it the perfect time to enjoy the vast array of onboard activities, live shows and dining onboard. Kids will surely want to explore Disney's Oceaneer Lab and Aloft. Adults may opt for a massage at the Vista Spa & Salon, and everybody can come together to enjoy a spectacular Disney live show in the evening.

Day 5
Drop anchor in Aruba in the West Indies on Monday, where you are invited to sunbathe on one of the island's pristine beaches, tour historic landmarks like Bushiribana, explore various natural wonders like the Cura di Tortuga or shop at Oranjestad's shopping venues. The Butterfly Farm is a popular tourist spot for families searching for some island magic.

Day 6
Spend a relaxing day at sea on Tuesday lounging at one of the various onboard pools or taking in a first-run movie at the Buena Vista Theatre.

Day 7
On Wednesday travel through the historic Panama Canal, an engineering marvel that links the Caribbean Sea to the Pacific Ocean. Bordered by lush, tropical rain forests, the canal is a visual feast that must be sailed to truly enjoy.

Day 8
Spend a relaxing day at sea on Thursday, where you and the entire family can discover additional onboard venues and activities, such as the fine northern Italian cuisine of Palo or the vast number of nightclubs and lounges and youth clubs located onboard.

Day 9
Arrive in Puntarenas in Costa Rica on Friday, home to the Monteverde Cloud Forest and Paseo de Turistas, a popular spot brimming with picturesque historic buildings, fine dining, live music and boutiques. Nature lovers won't want to miss the Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio, a tropical wonderland overflowing with exotic wildlife.

Day 10 and Day 11
Saturday and Sunday are once again spent at sea. During this time, rediscover the almost endless array of activities, live shows and restaurants onboard—or discover all that you may have missed since your vacation began.

Day 12
Dock in picture-perfect Manzanillo, Mexico—located on the central Pacific coast of Colima—on Monday and spend the day exploring the city. Tour the Museum of Archeology and History or stroll the picturesque grounds of Alvaro Obregón Garden before unwinding on one of the city's stunning beaches.

Day 13
Visit Puerto Vallarta in sunny Mexico on Tuesday, a popular tourist destination known for picture-perfect beaches—like Playa de los Muertos—and outdoor adventures such as a 4x4 jungle trek and deep-sea snorkeling. Treasure hunters will also love the Marina Vallarta and the Municipal Flea Market, 2 hotspots for souvenirs and handmade goods.

Day 14
Wednesday finds you amidst paradise in Cabo San Lucas, where rocky hillside climbs mingle with sprawling white-sand beaches. During your visit, behold the El Arco rock formation at Land's End or soak up the sun, sand and surf at Lover's Beach before embarking on a fishing expedition or enjoying a round of championship golf.

Day 15
Enjoy one final day at sea on Thursday, where you and your family can experience the fun of Remember the Magic: A Final Farewell and snap pictures of Disney Characters at the Till We Meet Again Party.

Day 16 – Disembarkation Day
Finally on Friday, arrive in Los Angeles, California, content in the vacation memories that can only be had on a Disney cruise, where exquisite dining, unique entertainment and recreation, and legendary service seamlessly come together to create a vacation unlike any other.

We are putting in a bid on a house tomorrow morning. We have been hunting since last November and said if we didn't find something by the end of the month we would have to wait until after the cruise, since we didn't want to be faxing paperwork.

There is another bid in, but I believe ours is stronger. Will keep you all posted! :thumbsup2

Good luck! My Dad and stepmom are in the same boat. They've moved to Florida without a place to move into. It looks like the paperwork has finally gone through. They have the house inspection on Friday!

Good morning all. Nippy here in Cadillc this morning - a whopping 36 degrees and heading to 63. Early fall but that is OK, that summer was just a tad too warm for me!

Have a great day!

Thanks to everyone who has blown up my inbox already. Currently I have 36 fish extender staterooms and 50 confirmed staterooms. I've also located both of my missing disboarders :).

Looks like things are finally calming down here at work. Which is good.

I hope you have pixe dust in every direction for your new home. I know how you feel. My dd is selling her home and is so anxious to hear someone say that they want to make an offer. Ryan and I are hoping this is over and done before we cruise! Don't want her in the middle of a move right before we cruise, but she is so anxious we will be happy for her to sell and get her new home. I will be thinking of you, for sure!

Also, quick update on the shirts. First one was ordered and is on it's way to me. If it looks good, I'll post the link.

If you're really anal and want to see where the first shirt is on its journey to me....

Welcome to all the new cruisers!:welcome:

If anyone is interested in whale watching in Cabo, my DH & I have found a morning tour for half of what Disney is charging. PM me if you would like the info. After the whales we plan to go in search of Cabo Wabo. :hippie:

Any news on those little doggies?

I don't normally post stuff like this..if anyone has time to say a little prayer...minor surgery in 2 hours (it's the anesthesia part that worries me).

Have a WONDERful Day!:sunny:
