Does anyone know if there are any discounts out for Dec 22-28 2010? We would like to go then, and even if we got a discount for a couple of days, that would be great.

This is, without question, the most popular time at Disney. AAA doesn't even give its normal discount for those dates. I won't say never, but I'd be very surprised if there were a room discount for any time between Dec. 21-Jan. 1 (except free dining as noted).

I'll be there for the same dates... the best you will do is free dining... WDW is going to be packed so they need not discount anything.

Those of you who are getting a pin for free dining in December is the the same terms as the public offer (quick service at values) just without the blackout dates?

I don't have the pin, but I believe I read that it is QSDP at values for both offers.

UUUGGGHHH! I just realized that the AP discount, with the exception of last year, comes out around AUGUST 17th not July. I'm so mad at mysef for getting my hopes up for nothing. I really hope the previous post about the rumor of the third is true. I really want to get this trip booked so I can start figuring out my budget for Christmas.

Anyway, when we were down there last week I was able to book the bounceback for our december dates. I'm thrilled with the 40% off at the YC!!!! Also, I was able to book the bounceback 40% off on 3 rooms. Isn't that great?!?! Yay!

My week wasn't blacked out!! Yay!

In the past Disney has offered a deal where you buy 7 night tickets and hotel and you get 3 free, otherwise known as the 7 for 4 deal. It had to be a package deal and if you added dining you had to pay for all 7 nights of dining.

I seen a few people mention this in this thread, and maybe I missed something around here, but I haven't heard any rumors that Disney was doing a 7 for 4 for this fall or winter. And I know they have never offered it while there is a free dining promo going on, which there is this fall and winter.

If the 7 for 4 is coming, I would look for it in the spring.

For us the free dining is still better than the room discount or the 7 for 4.

The room discount saves us $630.00

The 7/4 deal saves us about $750.00 and

The free dining discount saves us about $1,200.00

Well, that's the million dollar question! lol!

There's not much rhyme or reason as to who gets the select, random email pin codes. Everybody just says to make sure you are registered on the Disney website, order a planning DVD at least once a year, go in and get quotes on vacations and save them and also make sure you are registered on all other Disney sites, like Disney Insider and Disney Shopping, etc.
