Oct 3 - Dec 30 FD & Code Watch (Only)

Oh I know that for sure! We had FD last year while at POP, so I am VERY thankful. I was just kinda hoping for a lowering of the final cost.

This is a happy time. Not gonna think about negatives.

Yay for FD and CBR!!!

You'll save lots of $$$ on food. :thumbsup2

:dance3:

We've never stayed at CBR, but we took the boys there for a Pirate Cruise a few years back. The food court was really good, and the pool was awesome! I think you are going to love it!!!

What time did that email come?
When I called I had nothing, but I wasn't impressed with the CM either. And the system had one email, that is an account, but not my Disney one, the guy then said, no the email we have on file is this.... and that wasn't my disney one either. So no wonder my main email no longer is receiving updates and or pins anymore. I was getting one about every few weeks and then they stopped. I know why now. They don't have that email listed anymore. Weird.

It is marked 7:56 tonight. I had been watching during the day, and of course nothing came. We came home from a little league game and there it was! I was told 2 weeks ago that I had a pin available today and then when I called again, the CM told me there was nothing attached to my name. So, I'm glad it's in writing!

Could someone who has gotten today's PIN please let me know if the rumoured Free Regular Dining at the values is also included on it. My dates are already during the free dining and we've upgraded from quick to regular. I'm not sure if I should be crossing my fingers for a PIN, or if it won't make any difference for us.

I had to upgrade the pin to regular dining at Pop. The very nice CM said only the moderates and deluxes had the regular dining. Good luck!!

I don't know why, but I'm really doubting my TA telling me that PIN didn't offer anything at values. I don't know if she meant there wasn't any availability or if my PIN truly didn't offer anything for values.

I'm happy with the CBR upgrade, but I'm also in $$$ saving mode right now too and would love to a little come off the final cost.

Maybe she thought you only wanted the regular dining plan? But the cost to upgrade if staying at a value is pretty reasonable. I wanted the cheapest deal possible, and was fine with it.

Perhaps, although my communications (email and phone) with her were pretty clear that we wanted a value resort and upgrade to basic dining from QS, before going with any moderate.

Well, I just called a CM and was told that my PIN does have availability at POP, with a preferred room and the ability to upgrade to basic dining.

Maybe when she attempted to adjust my ressie, there was no availability at that time?? I dunno.

I now have ressies at CBR, with free dining, and at a cost that is the same as I was already paying at POP w/o free dining. If I were to pursue this and have my TA move it back to POP, I'd be saving about $230.

Ugh...sometimes I wish I could just let things go and not ponder so much. LOL

I would call back and ask your TA to check again. This happened to me and it was the cm at Disney that wasn't doing it correctly. The value resorts have a different code for the offer since they get the quick service dining plan for free. I had to wait on hold for quite a bit with the cm while she checked with a supervisor when I insisted that the value resorts are available with the new pin offer discount. Then the cm came back saying that she had to use a different discount code for the value resort to pop up and then could upgrade my dining to the regular dining

So I called my TA back and she seemed stunned that they told me there was availability at POP. She said she spent an hour with a CM working on just my ressie and was told that no values were offered for my PIN.

Bottom line: she said that if I can get the offer with the PIN, she can get the offer with the PIN and that she would call them immediately.

Keeping my fingers crossed for being able to save $$$.

YEAH! I knew that just didn't seem right. I bet she'll have you fixed up in no time! :yay:

I'm very upset with my chances of getting pins. I'm aware I should be grateful that I am even receiving them, but they are not for the dates I will be travelling. Last night, I called and no pin was attached to my name, although I believe it was the rudest CM I've ever encountered. She basically said that I would get an email if I had one and that was that. I checked my email and I have the Free Dining Pin, but it ends on 12/16 and I'm going December 28 - January 4th. I was really hoping for anything but the 20% off pin that a person in my party has. It's not saving us much with 3 adults and 1 child (age 3) going. I wish I would've taken advantage of my bounceback offer, but this trip was spontaneous with my two best friends and my goddaughter.

I wish I could give someone my pin for Free Dining. Times are tough and I feel like Disney should be thanking those that are even going by allowing to use pins from others that are not going during the available times.

Guess I'll just join the wishful thinking train on a pin being released for me to use during my stay. I've already changed my dates three times to be able to use the 20% off pin. However, the CM I talked to said to keep my eyes open as a deal for my ressie was getting ready to be released. :goodvibes

I wish Disney would just put out an ad on tv. Here's the dates, here's the amount off, first come first served. I would think it would be easier for them and certainly easier for all of us jumping through hoops to get a pin, email, post card, Disney Visa, free dining, free counter service, non black out, bounce back, in our name not our cousins who went with us 12 years ago. Okay, I think I feel better now. Back to watching for all of the above. :surfweb:

Hi Everyone
I tried the # someone posted here yesterday for the prompting. After giving all the information to a machine they connected me to a human who asked all the same questions!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
I asked if she had access to the info I just gave to the *MACHINE* and she said "I will go check" and came back after 5 minutes and then said "NO!"
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Long story short No pins attached to my party's names:headache:

TYPO it wasn't a long story short SHE took forever to answer any questionspopcorn::popcorn:: I should have made popcorn

Have a magical day:wizard:

I just booked two rooms at POP for 10/5-9 with free dining and upgraded to the basic plan. I was worried it was all gone. When the CM first checked she said there was no availability but then she found it!

I am excited and hope everyone else gets to take advantage of this offer...it saved us around $800!

Congrats! Your story gives me hope. :) I know first hand what a roller coaster ride you've been through! I was told last Weds morning that I had the 7/13 pin, but then yesterday, was told I did not. I was so excited last week only to have my excitement cut short at precisely 6:14 am yesterday. Glad to know it still may change. ;)
