Has anyone ever read any books by Robin McKinley? She re-writes fairy tales. I'm reading "Spindle's End" right now, and loving it!!! It's a re-telling of Sleeping Beauty, and it's so well written!!! I'm highly recommending it to anyone with teenage daughters, or if you just like to read fairy tales with a new twist.

Yikes! Are they evacuating? The news just said it depends on the path of the storm as to how much wind and rain we will get. They said gusts of 60-70 mph, and around 4 inches of rain, but that will probably change.

well I know my cousin her DH and son will leave. Not sure about my 2 aunts, my uncle said he was not leaving.

It depends on what side of the storm we are on as to how much rain at least 4 inches if not more.

Why do people not understand my "No Soliciting" sign on my front door????? I've had 3 people selling magazines door to door today. It's so frustrating! I hate telling people "no," so I got the sign. Apparently, people don't know what soliciting means anymore.

Sorry for the rant! I just don't have patience for it anymore!

Glynis,,,I forget if you have pets. One trick is to call your pet and really get excited and ask the pet if you should buy or not. Gets them every time---they think you are crazy and they try to leave.

Everyone has their own beliefs but Hal answered the door one time telling the person he was busy cleaning his rifle. The person left really fast

Chanon - Another lovely box! You know, I think I heard a rumor that there was a box mailed out of Dallas to you this morning. But I could be wrong. WHY did Kristine have your ME tags? Aren't YOU the travel agent? I haven't been able to work that out. Did you rent points from her?

hahahah i love it! i had mine for at least 2 weeks ready to go but could never get it to the post office...i also meant to get Easter themed things and couldnt fidn a thing so went with the lilac candles!

I don't know, I've heard the same rumor about a box in Ohio. Maybe it's not true!

Boy, all these boxes! CO, VA, TX, IL, NJ...I should have saved all the shipping labels for my scrapbook!
