Great stay at CSR

Hi! We just got back from CSR, also our very first time staying on Disney property, and we loved it. We stayed in the Ranchos 6A room 6102, the room was great, not a bad view, and not a far walk to the pool. The resort is very pretty in the morning with the reflection on the water, I really liked our area with the rocks and the cactus. We saw bunnies in the morning, those white birds with yellow beaks, and of course the lizards. On our last day as we were leaving my husband did't see the poor toad on the ground and stepped on him, the poor thing made a pop sound like a balloon breaking when he got squished. I wanted to throw up.
I didn't find the walk to and from the Pepper Market bad at all, we had breakfast there twice and dinner once and it was fine.
The busses were great, with little or no wait, only one time we had to stand and that was late at night. I though that the ride times to the parks were very good, with the longest being to Downtown Disney.
We must have kept our room the cleanest our maid has seen because we were always getting notes saying thankyou and your the best, I kept it the way I would keep my own home, bed made, towels folded and garbage in it's place. No towel animals though, and yes we always left a tip.
All in all we really enjoyed our 25th anniversay and I hope we can stay on property again.

Thanks for sharing! CSR is my favorite resort too!! :cheer2:

Poor froggy :crazy2:

Glad you had a great trip. CSR is our favorite (we were there 9-1 through 9-9). We agree with everything you said. We did get a towel animal...but only after we left a note on our tip envelope asking for them to leave one for us (I remember when we were there last year that we had about four of them).

So glad you had a nice stay. I am trying to switch over to there, but one night during my trip is sold out. Boo! hehe. But I will be happy at POR if that is where I end up.

Thank you for sharing! We have upgraded to CSR from POP for our Dec trip. I can hardly wait!:thumbsup2

Good to know we will be there in 10 days, I am very excited! The resort looks beautiful and I am glad to know you all had a great time!

Nice review - maybe if we are allocated a room in the Ranchos serction, it wouldn't be so bad - I do like a quiet location especially if there are a few little bunnies hopping araound - and we don't really mind a walk anyway.

I know there are 4 bus stops in the resorts and I wondered in what order the bus picked up. When we stayed at POFQ, it picked up at our resort first and so we always got a seat but then went to a few stops at POR where many of those poor souls had to stand or wait for the next bus! - kinda of put me off wanting to stay at POR. I wondered if this was ever a problem at CSR.

Park buses stop at bus stop 2, 3, 4, then 1. Downtown Disney and park exit buses go in irder 1, 2, 3, and then 4.
