***August Disney Pin Exchange sent/received***....COMPLETED!

Ok, no rush... I know it's a busy time with kids going back to school. Just hoping it wasn't lost in the mail!

Amber was THRILLED to get her pins today from Landon (The Disney Bunch). She wouldn't even let her daddy see them! She LOVES Nemo and Tink. She got a pin of each of them, a Princess photo album (will be put to good use when we get back from WDW next month!) and some stickers. She loves everything. Thanks so much Landon!!!! Here's a pic:

Yeah, so glad she liked them. I had NO princess pins so I tried to find the next best thing for a little girl. Luckily I had just bought the tink pin off ebay and had the nemo so thought those would be good choices. I am so happy she loves them both.

Fingers crossed for another US arrival from across the pond today (I can't believe I am posting about hopeful arrivals today when it is nearly 9pm here!! lol)

It arrived today!!
The 3 chocolates are in the refrigerator.... It is a bit warm here today.
I love the pins!! All keepers
I received 3 pirate pins....Mickey, Donald and Goofy.Their faces are on gold coins with crossed swords.

but the coin is gold, no hidden Mickey and they say Walt Disney World (I am not good at searching on pinpics yet, I guess )

Those are lanyard pins.
You probably have the earlier ones, which did not have the hidden Mickeys on the.
Examples: Pin 28334: WDW Cast Lanyard Series 2 - Pirates (Mickey) ; Pin 28348: WDW Cast Lanyard Series - Pirates (Donald) ; Pin 28784: WDW Cast Lanyard Series 2 - Pirates (Goofy)

I'm glad you like your pins Meriweather. I tried to find the 4th one to complete the set but could only find the silver hidden Mickey one. I guess that gives you something to look out for in the parks!! I hope the chocolate cools down too and that you enjoy it.

Our last one did not get here today. Ethan asked me today why Landon and I got pins and he didn't! I told him they were very special ones on the way from Disney World for him so he was excited over that!

Oh I don't mind waiting, I havebeen passing the time by buying more pins ready for the next exchange . Oh and getting a larger pin bag, my collection seems to have outgrown my keepers bag over the last week .

Cameron received her other pins and I think she was more excited over the bonus... From Brandon, Janet755's DS, she received an ariel pin and a Tinkerbell pin....both were added to her keeper book with no hesitation!! It's her first Ariel pin so she was SUPER excited over that...we created a new page just for her. The bonus was a "make it and bake it tinkerbell necklace" ... We have it on the kitchen counter so that we can make it this weekend and celebrate the end of the first week of school
