At 4am this morning we recieved a call from the hospital informing us that my Father had died.
He would have been 87 on the 16th of this month. We're just thankful it wasn't a long drawn out ordeal for him.

We've been home for 2 hours which is just enough time to thaw out!
A partly cloudy 50-ish degree baseball day in Alaska. The weather wasn't too bad, but 6 hours outside was enough.
DS8's team lost 9-14. He struck out and walked 2x.
DS6 had a great game. He hit a legitimate stand-up double, but with the fielding skills at this age ended up with a home run! He also hit a triple & was awarded the first game ball! Not sure the score, but I think it was something like 27-19.
Anyone seen Spiderman 3? Do you have a kid recommendation? Just as a point of reference, they've seen Spiderman 1 & 2, but we decided that Batman Returns was too dark for them. I know this Spidey is supposed to be darker than the previous 2. I can't pre-screen it because I'm playing single mom for the next few weeks.
Now I'm watching Stanley Cup playoffs. Go Devils!

I had them fill out an application. My brother's Big Boy job is with a corporate screening firm (he's the one who owns & runs a record store), so he's checking up on them right now, but by the end of the day our house should be rented.
First time since Janurary, which is really bad for us. If anyone would like pictures of a particular area of DL or California Adventure let us know. Unfortunately we will not have time for pictures of the surrounding area. Will have time for that later. We are eating at Storytellers Cafe in the Grand Californian and will take pictures of that.
