I just bought my first grill a few weeks ago. It's so easy to cook dinner on the grill.

whoo...this cleaning nonsense is for the birds!! we are on a rampage though...i have cleaned 3 rooms top to bottom since 8ish this am!! i want to sit and veg on computer, but i know if i do there is no turning back, and the rest of the house will not get cleaned. ttyl!

I spent all last night in cleaning SWAT mode! Picked up a few cleaning things from WM but the Clorox mop thingy is going back because (a) I couldn't put it together and (most important) (b) it requires me pulling the trigger to squirt out the cleaning stuff. Yeah, riiiiiiight! I think I'll get the Swiffer WetJet because it's powered and it has a solution specifically for hardwood flooring.

I moved through each room upstairs with the precision of an urban specops unit and totally filled the trash bin! Problem is, I don't know what the trash is filled with because there's still a LOT more crap I want to get rid of! And I haven't even started the downstairs yet!

My friend is having a Stamping up get together tonight and crafts are my down fall! I could start a craft store with the stuff I have now! Tell Gabbie that my QVC Disney jewelry came yesterday! See I have too many shopping vices!

My disney QVC stuff came today also. I love opening up these boxes.

Getting ready for chat tonite. I will have to make strong coffee so I can stay up.

Back in NM our UPS courier lived across the street from us It was nice because we would get our packages when he came home for lunch.

I spent part of tonight buying trip insurance for our TOAL. We always use Access America on our own because the price is Great!! The Family Basics package includes kids under 18 for FREE (That is is favorite word)!! Well is Taryn will turn 18 soon I wanted to buy it before then. It's not the sailing age that counts, but the age at purchase.

For those of you interested in Trip Insurance and haven't purchased it through DCL, check it out. We paid $116 each for pax 1 & 2 with pax 3 & 4 for free and that's for $12,000 worth of insurance (trip cancellation) and I included a estimated amount for airfare. It also has $100,000 medical transportation and $20,000 medical and dental coverage.

I know we don't like to think of these things (especially cancellation) But I really buy trip insurance for the medical transportation. If anything happens to me or mine I want to be airlifted by helicopter to the U.S. if humanly possible!

I know this is off subject but does anyone know about smoke detectors? It started beeping this afternoon, I changesd the battery and it is still beeping. I am challenged when it comes to things like this.

How old is it?

They go bad after a while (10 years). You probably should just replace it.

Gosh - am I fated to never join chat??? I've finished most of what I needed to do today and thought I'd have time to join in - BuT NO - that darn whatever DGS had hit me hard today. I wondered why I had such a hard time driving yesterday - I was so tired - oh, now I know "kindergarten flu"!!!!!

I don't have too much to do tomorrow - so I can hopefully recharge so that I"m ready to drive back to So.Ca on Sun.

I will chat one of these Fridays - I will - I will - I will - I will!!!!!!! (I suppose I should be beyond having tantrums!!)

The mediacal is what we do not have. We have to get Medicare!!!

The cold has got worse - there's a chest infection there as well (I get them frequently - I had one on the 10 Day Southern last September and I didn't leave the room for two days !!).
