Being out of the office this week really didn't help with trying to keep up with you all. :crazy2: Just decided to jump ahead and used the summaries to catch up---thanks.

Count us in for the repo. We also leave tomorrow morning for a 7-day. I can see us spending a good deal of time saying things like "When we are on here next time. . ." Will have to use the summaries when we get back as well.

After 2.5 hours, I'm finally caught up, just in time to take DD to the high school for the school musical practice, and I do need to start gathering papers together ot get my income taxes filed. I usually have them filed on Feb. 1st, I haven't even started getting them ready yet. :faint:

Just finished both federal and state and e-filed. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Needed to make sure there weren't going to be any surprises before I committed to Capt. Jack's crew!!

Just heard our weather forcast for Monday--High 9 Low -2. (How soon until I get on the plane!!)

 Hows about we do this:
We'll all pitch in for the rental of some really really big vans...
Then the CA natives (you know...the ones who already know how to navigate those freeways...) could drive those vans and come pick us all up at the airport...
How many Cali natives do we have??? We could make all of the CA people be the "official DIS drivers"!!!!
Sound good??? :confused3

I like the idea of having a couple busses come pick us up & take us to the port. :thumbsup2

LOL! I was thinking the same thing! I don't think I'd ever spell that one correctly!

BTW sk8ingmom....dh is retired military. Army reserve. He was an Assistant Professor of Miltary Science (taught ROTC). And....I also have a Drew. He's 11.

...and DH & I are from Ohio! We both grew up in a Cleveland 'burb.

Are you from / living in Ohio or just a Buckeye fan? DH is a Buckeyes fan, I'm not so much. My dad is a U of Illinois alum, so that was our Big 10 team. (I know they suck, but so do the Browns, the Indians, the Bobcats, I'm used to it)

And I was worried our flight from NY was going to be too long.

Kind of puts it in perspective, doesn't it?

What airport do you think you will leave from, JFK, LGA or Newark? As long as the pricing is good, we'll go from either Albany or Stewart but if I can get something really cheap including car service there and back I'll book one of those.

I think you asked earlier about linking Dining. On another thread, someone volunteered to get all of our info and coordinate the table sets. We all were in the same seating, and our tablemates were felloYw dis-ers. All you need is everyone's reservation number.

Hi Coral, Yes it will be great to see you all as well. FYI, "Squirt" is due in May, and will also be in the room with us...

Do ya think Mark and Mary will make the cruise?

:figment:

Hi! I have a contact in DCL dining and we will gather the resie info after the website info is together. :) I already have the forms on the computer. :thumbsup2

We are thinking of driving to Florida, stay at my mom's one night, then fly from MCO to Orange County Airport. We know we are going to have more stuff to bring home then what we left with, this way we will have our car when we arrive back in Florida. But then again, the thoughts of being in the :drive: for two days after the cruise. :faint:

BTW: Nope, the income taxes will have to wait until the weekend. ::yes::

Is that like the UK version of putting tubes in her ears....?

My 3yo nephew has tubes. Seems it runs in his father's side that the kids need tubes. Shawn, my nephew, had several ear infections so bad that his ear drum ruptured and actually bled. Each time their doc said no problem. After the second time, i begged my sis to get them to let her see a specialist. Good thing she did. He was starting to lose hearing but after the tubes is doing much better and hearing has returned.

DD had ear tubes twice at 2 & 4. The pediatrician just pulled them out a couple of months ago. The procedure itself is non-invasive and takes about 3 minutes, but as a parent, it's a bit scary, especially since they have to put the kid out all the way to keep them still.

DD's ears work fine now, except when we ask her to clean up her toys. :)

All this talk about flying is reminding me that our flight to LAX will be 13 hours !!! :crazy2: :sad1: :sad2:

David

Thats okay our flight from Las Vegas to Barcelona to bring the Magic back this August will be a tad longer ...LOL

Yep, that cold snap is headed our way too starting over the weekend. :crazy2: The highs will be in the teens to low 20's most of next week, and I'm not looking forward to it. :sad2:

This is what we all need: :beach: :beach: :beach:

Welcome aboard! We'll have our own fun!

BTW, I have to ask about your screenname - is that RadioClash as in The Clash?

I saw them at the University of Pennsylvania Ice Skating rink (no ice), circa 1983. I'm a punk rock girl disguised as a suburban soccer mom.

OK, time to head home and make some dinner! See y'all later! :wave2:
