Sophia was having hers done at the same time as my DD and I couldn't believe she was giggling and having a good time during the braiding while DD was wincing at every braid. I really had wanted ours to last til christmas at least but DD and I both had them removed today- the pain just wasn't letting up.

Sophia had Savannah amusing her, which helped IMMENSLEY!

But, as Amy said, no complaints!

She wants to keep them in for school to show one of her best friends (Dominique, who is African-American, and always has pretty braids) and her cousins Lizzy and Anna, who are also African-American and were adopted by Amy's sister who also always have pretty braids.

She is such a poser and show-off!

Here's one of my favorites, especially because Walt went up and talked to Cinderella willingly. They had a quick chat (wish I knew what it was, but they were looking at each other's hands), then he took her hand for the photo.

I feel like I should probably apologize to a few of you for being a bad mood and being rude. I really am not normally that crabby. I am sorry that so many of you had to witness my and the kids meltdowns....I know they were not a pretty sight. It was really just a bad combination of things are the exact wrong time and I didn't handle things much better than a 4 year old myself.

I really am sorry that I was not much fun this past week. I can only hope that if I get brave enough to cruise again that I will be able to meet you all again.

Love the pic of Walt and Cinderella - very cute. Nathan wouldn't even go up to her...too girly for him.

I just ordered our Christmas cards from Walgreens since they have Disney themes. I used this picture we took on Sunday at CC. Except for the dorky look on my face it ended up being the best looking Christmas-y picture we had.

Well I probably should get to bed. I just made a trip to TRU earlier this evening to buy some gifts for other kids in the family and kids of friends. I was shocked to see how empty the shelves were. I usually am well done with my shopping by now so I was not used to having such a limited selection. I think I ended up doing pretty good but I didn't find any really good deals so I spent more than I usually do...oh well the additional costs of cruising right before Christmas.

I did end up buying DS some more stuff that he did not need. The new season of Power Rangers is coming out in February and I found some of the new toys. I think he will love having them before the show even comes out. It will be a little bit of Santa magic.... Of course since I spent even more $$$ on DS who I had already spent more on than DD I felt obligated to buy something else for her so she ended up with the Dora talking van. Hopefully she will like it.

We asked Lisa if we could continue the thread for us that are going to be on the cruise on 12/8, and after that it will probably be the one that you guys join us in 2008.

Those of us going on 12/8 want to keep in touch with our 2006 friends - too hard for most of us to break away to another thread! We KNOW you guys!

And Becka, add me to the list who say that your kids were NO worse than ANY others! You should have seen Sophia's meltdown on the last night of the cruise, when I would not let her have friends over for a sleepover! I though her head was going to start spinning!

All kids have their moments.

I think it was Amy who saw Shutters' version of this photo and said I should get it. I had to make sure I had captured the same moment. I should have gotten Shutters' version of Hannah with Sorcerer Mickey; it was better than mine.
Walt and Trey are very much alike; photos of Trey as a kid are so much like Walt now.
I usually only get "credit" for Hannah; Elizabeth looks like Trey's side. I was at an event with Trey's sister, and strangers kept assuming that she was Elizabeth's mom.

I am starting to get annoyed. I am comparing the prices of the Repo cruise with what I got rebooking onboard and there is not a full 10% off. It only amounts to $140, but what gives? Now I have to check with the October cruise also. She made a mistake with that one that I didn't catch at first so I will already be calling DCL anyway. She has 3 booked in the Cat6 and 2 in the Cat 11. She also has us WAY far away from wach other. One in the front and one in the back! I told her they didn't have to be right across from each other, but...
