Yes, I wish they also had photopass on board. I am so sorry you did not get notified about the updated photos. We had picked up the embarkation ones right away and when I went back the next day the woman at shutters saw my card marked with one and asked whether I had picked up the embarkation photo and to bring it back and she would fill out a reprint notice on it. She also mentioned that they pulled them all and reprinted as soon as they noticed.

They should have put up a sign or something. I'm really upset that I didn't know about this error until getting home.

Vanessa, the kids have been in school 2 & 3 years and taking them out for 7-8 days has not hurt them at all. In 2008 we are looking at the week after Thanksgiving since that week they will be out of school 3 days. They would only miss the 5 days for the cruise.

I am not worried about her missing class but since I would have to take off work when they actually have their xmas and spring break, it will eat into my vacation time.

Well we are up this morning , and going through pictures .....We ordered the Christmas cards , you know you get 40 for 39.00 dollars - well the first 2 cards were are Family ...The rest were someone else What do we do ??? Anyone know who to contact ....I knew we shouldnt have ordered them the last night ...errrrhhhhh

Oh, that totally sucks Todd. While going through our cards we found 2 cards of another family. Thankfully it was only 2 that weren't us and not more. I hope they're able to straighten this out for you in time.

Hello Everyone!!!

We had the best time. I wish I had gotten to spend more time meeting everyone.

I still don't know how our family got dropped from the dining list. I spoke to 2 Head Servers who said we were not on any list. Despite whatever word was going around - no one in any of our families changed our dining request. I heard that one and was floored that people thought that. I actually cried when I called Lisa the first night and she said she couldn't do anything.

But - I was determined not to let it ruin our vacation. We had the best time and our servers were so AWESOME! I'm not sure if we could have had better ... so perhaps things worked out.

Thanks to everyone for the treats. It was such an incredible feeling to keep finding little surprises.

Special thanks to Caroline for helping spread the magic to the Adam's family! You were awesome!

Glad everyone got home safely.

I just got off the phone with Greg from image services who does the pictures. He says to take a digital picture or scan of the embarkation photo and email that along with the numbers on the back, the ship, dates sailed, and your address and he will forward that information to the ship so that they can correct the problem and send the picture out to you.

So, which DISer was in Mickey's Mates toward the end of the cruise, when my SIL (Kathy) and my DD8 (Hannah) were there? You recognized Hannah (apparently Hannah had picked up a stuffed Mickey, saw it was $22, and said "Well, THAT's not happening!" and put it back on the shelf.

Photo pass would be perfect. Although I signed on to photopass last night to view our WDW pictures and they were all horrible. I had a code for a free 5x7 and had a really hard time picking one that was good enough to even be free! We apparently had bad photographers (blurry pictures or we'd be blinking funny, etc)

Don't forget that we can combine our photopasses onto one CD up to 12 numbers I believe. We can split the cost & burn the CDs.

Have you looked into the daycare at your work (that's where they are now right?) to see if they let you bring in your DD while she has time off school?

Have to share something weird. I've been wearing my green bracelet since we left for the cruise. Even though I know it glows in the dark, I never noticed it glowing. BUT last night, at home after the late night flight, I noticed it glowing as I crawled into bed. Just a little last reminder of all the fun.

Did anyone else have anything signed (pillowcases, mats, etc)? I turned pillowcases in on the first day and had a bag filled with colorful sharpies. The lady at GS said they didn't need the sharpies, they had their own and gave me back the bag.

We got our pillowcases on friday night and all the signatures are in black sharpie. I really wanted them to be colorful. I'm a bit disappointed about this.

We left two photo mats with GS with a bag of colored sharpies and we got them back on Friday night with lots of signatures in the colors. I wonder if the GS CM was fairly new? I am sorry they did not turn out like you hoped.

We did this as well and the characters used the colors with each mat. Sorry that you got the wrong info. There were alot of newbies onboard last week.

I turned in 2 mats, no pens, and got back colored signatures. I turned it in on the first night of the cruise... don't know if that makes a difference. They asked me if I had preferences and I said no.... I do wish I had put a DCL sticker or something on there because it's all signatures and seems a bit out of context without a photo to go with it....

I guess lesson learned... If a CM says they don't need the sharpies I would insist that they take them anyway and ask that they make note that I want signatures in a variety of colors.

One interesting thing did happen earlier this afternoon. We had put a stop on our mail but DH went to check on it anyway this afternoon and he found only one thing had been delivered in our absence......the WDW planning video. What does THAT mean?
