If you check the Wilderness Lodge thread in the main resorts board (up in trip planning) they have a link to the Villas and then a link to new pictures as well.

In this thread are photos of a remodeled studio at the beginning and farther into the thread. Details of the table, murphy bed, and TV are shown for the studio. Also a wide angled photo of a 2BR is posted further on.

Is that one of those special corner rooms? I've heard about them but have never seen photos/a video of one before. I love all those windows and the layout is so different in the 1BR portion, much more spacious! Unfortunately if the special corner rooms are all dedicated 2BRs I will probably never have a chance to stay in one. Thanks for posting the link!

I've always wanted to see one of those special 2BRs after reading about them here so I thought the video was great. And it does show the new furnishings, paint color, kitchen flooring, etc so it also serves that purpose.

The room in the video is 2528. You can see from this map of the second floor of VWL (courtesy of DVCnews) just how different the floor plan of that room has to be given its shape.

Those corner units are not all dedicated 2br units. We were assigned 5528 as a 1br the first time I stayed in a 1br. We loved it, but I did not care for being on the top floor. (enclosed balcony off bedroom was filled with dead bugs and the open balcony reconfirmed that I don't care for heights )

Thanks for that information. I had no idea that a couple of those corner units are lockoffs. Cool!
