I don't know that I've ever heard of a trivection oven. I do, however, have a convection oven. I don't find that items really cook in a shorter time--especially where cookies and the like are concerned.
Everything does seem to be more evenly cooked, and you can use all the racks in the oven at the same time with mine.
If you can get this oven for way less, then I say go for it. Just let us know how it cooks!
