A little tip for newbies: The Red Carpet segment goes really quickly on this thread. People are typing like crazy all at the same time, seeing different dresses and having opinions about them.

If you post something or ask a question and it seems to get ignored, :( you are NOT being ignored. ) Everyone is just watching, typing & posting so quickly before the dress goes off the screen. We do most of the reading, scrolling back & posting back to each others comments during the COMMERCIALS! :surfweb: Your posts will get a response then. :hyper2:

Once the show starts, it slows down to a more comfortable pace. Just hang in there with us! It's going to be a great evening. :hyper2:  :lmao:  :sad2: :thumbsup2

Lifetime Achievement Award:
Morgan Freeman

My choice for winners are in the bold. I haven't seen many of the shows going for people I personally like lol. I'm thrilled to see Morgan Freeman getting the lifetime award!!!

Will be reading along but a broken arm and one handed typing will keep me from commenting on much this award season. I will be at the quiet one in the corner at the party.

Just noisily post a lot of smilies. These will work instead: :thumbsup2, :crazy2:,, :lovestruc, :scared:, :sad2:.

:teeth:

I'm not thrilled with only female presenters but maybe it won't be so bad. At least they won't be wearing only black!

I'm expecting pretty much the same winners as at the other shows.

I hate that this stuff is on Sunday nights. With my new schedule I have to be up early during the week for work so by the time the awards start I am starting to think about bed.

if it wasn't for this thread, I wouldn't even have known there was an award show tonight! How many award shows do we need? I don't even know who votes for this one.

Just stay for the red carpet. They are back to wearing colors tonight. :thumbsup2

At least, this award show ends right at 10:00 because TNT replays it all over again at 10. Maybe it's because they are all famous actors at this event? :scratchin It's not like when a film editor wins and has to thank everyone including his kindergarten teacher, and goes way over time.

Probably during commercials the SAG Award show director or stage manager yells at them all to stay within the time frame time :duck: so they do, more or less. They are used to being directed. :p

I hope to check in at some point. I'm going out to a friend's house for dinner, so I'll probably miss the red carpet (my favourite part!) Thanks for the reminder @Imzadi!

I'm not sure how much of the actual award I will be watch I think this one will be pretty political from the all woman presenters I'm sure it pretty anti-men and pro me too movement

Here we go!

Looks like it's just Guiliana & some woman named Nina. No Ryan.
