Photopass?

Basically, when you have your first photo taken by a Disney photographer, they will give you a credit card-style card with a long number and UPC code on the back. Instead of getting little slips of paper all day for each photo taken, you will just load all of the photos onto this card. I don't know how far they've implemented the system yet at DCA, but the end result will be that you don't have to waste time going to the photo shop at the end of the day, instead, you can wait until you get home, register your card online, see your photos, make edits, purchase and have them mailed to you.

As Wendi posted, you get a plastic card and each time you have a photo taken, be sure to give the photographer your card to record your photos.

But, while at WDW you can wait until you get home to view and order photos, right now in DCA you must view and order photos while in the parks. They have not yet fully developed the internet option.

In the park on Monday there were several photographers practicing in DL, but the system was not yet rolled out. Photopass was only available in DCA this weekend. Could change any day now though.

We were there yesterday and the had the system at Princess Fantasy Faire. The CM said they just started using it. :goodvibes
