We just returned from a 7 day trip. We stayed at Coronado Springs Resort, went to the Magic Kingdom, Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island, Boardwalk, Fantasia Gardens mini golf, SeaWorld and Kennedy Space Center. We spent some of our time at the resort pool and seeing the sights. We planned for weeks ahead of time, using this discussion board for info and several other web sites and books. The weather was great and most of all, we just relaxed. Thanks to all who post your trip reports and other interesting info!

Woodchuck glad to hear you had a great vacation. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

We've had a little time to un-wind from the trip, and wish we were still there!! It's 30 degrees and has snowed here in VT today, just enough to cover the grass.
Hard to believe that only two days ago we were swimming in 85 degree, sunny weather.
If anyone has any questions about any of the places we went, we will be happy to answer them!

Thanks for sharing your trip with us, Woodchuck.

Boy, when you say short and sweet, you really mean it. /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Did you have kids on your trip? Did you like the pool at CSR?

We enjoyed Kenedy Space Center! There was a lot to do and see there, more than what I thought it would be. Plan on spending about 6 hours there if you want to see everything, including the Imax movies. The day we were there, the shuttle was supposed to land, but it was too windy and it was diverted to land in CA.
There are a lot of different buildings to go into at the main visitors center, and if you buy a "Maximum Access Pass" it allows you go into restricted areas (by there bus system). From there it takes you to view were the space shuttle is launched and assembled, to a building that houses an actual Appollo Rocket (It's huge) and to the building were parts to the International Space Center are built. (there is a viewing area there where you can see them working on actual pieces of it).

Overall, to us, it was worth the trip. It was nice drive out there. If you go, plan on getting there before noon. We got there about 12:30 and just barely got to see everything.

Thanks for the information! We'll try and get an early start on our day at the Kennedy Space Center.

Sounds like you had a great trip, Woodchuck.
