My Jimmy Buffett concert pictures!

I'm attempting to post my pictures of the Jimmy Buffett concert I went to on April 19th in Nashville, TN. I hope these work. If they do I'd like to credit Dan Murphy for the help on how to post pics and if they don't I'd like to credit myself for them not
working.

This is the crew I went with to Jimmy Buffett. From left to right, their
is Dallas, Stefani, Meg, Bochmeir, Staci, and me.

This one is of my girls. Notice all the fellow parrotheads in the
background.

Here is lovely me wasting away in Margaritaville with my Coors Light and a
comfy hammock.

Everyone enjoying the good drinks and music.

Whoops, someone is already enjoying the drinks a little to early.

This is where the pre party was held before we got on the buses to head to
the concert. Their was around 100 people and we loaded up on two buses. We
started this party around noon and we left for the concert around 4 and it
started at 8, so we had plenty of partying to do before the concert.

This is my partner in crime Bochmeir and I having a good time. His real
name is Josh by the way, but being guys everyone calls him by his last name.

Well now we're on the bus and Meg is still feeling the aftershocks of not
eating for two days and just drinking, she'll be fine once we get to the
concert.

Someone was passing around an American Flag stamp so we all started
putting the stamp on our arms and hands, I took one of my hand I thought you
guys would like.

This was the guy who sat in front of me on the bus, at the end of the
night he got back on the bus so I don't think he got arrested, guess the shirt
must have worked.

This is Ron Morehead who organized the party at his house and the buses.
He's a professor here at WKU and a really nice guy. The lady with him is his mom
who came all the way up from her home in Orlando just to go to Buffett with us.
We called her Momma Morehead

This is a lady on the bus who was definitely in the Buffett spirt, thought
I'd show this to everyone just so you can see what crazy outfits people wear at
the concert. This is actually one of the more toned down outfits, the other ones
I took pictures of I would love to post but I don't think they would be DIS
material.

This was our bus driver Rose, she was sweet lady and I think we gave her
an eye opening experience to say the least. She was great driver and got us home
safe and sound.

This is my friend Staci and I enjoying a few beers and good company.

Now we're in the concert sitting on the lawn.

This is the stage right before the concert started, we weren't that close
and I'm actually surprised at how well the pictures turned out because we were
so far away.

Here is the man himself from a far away distance Mr. Jimmy Buffett!!!!!

Here we are at the end of the concert doing FINS!!! Fins to the left, Fins
to the right!!! Nothing like it anywhere else except at a Jimmy Buffett concert.

This is the last picture I took right at the concert was ending, it's
kinda fuzzy but it shows ya what the stage looks like. 

 

We all had a great time, Alan Jackson came out and sang Margaritaville
with Jimmy and then Kenny Chesney came out and sang Volcano, it was great!!! I
can't wait to go see Jimmy at Cincinnati in August!!! Hope you all enjoyed the
pics.

WOW! Do your pic's bring back the memories! We've done the bus party gig as well, ONLY way to go IMHO.....glad it was such a blast. How's Meg doing?

Loved the FINHEADS in the background. You guys had great weather for the concert. Thanks for sharing...since I'm a no-go

this year(unless I land some tix off a radio station) I really enjoyed re-living the fun.

Really nice looking pictures of a nice day. Poor Meg, hope seh faired okay the next day and did not have a headache. Glad you enjoyed yourselves, smart using the bus and leaving the driving to Rose. Thanks for sharing. :sunny:

reminds of the good ole days of being young without any children..only time i ever saw my future wife have too many margaritas!!

when we were in california a couple of weeks ago we went to san diego after visiting disneyland, stayed at a beachfront hotel, and every night i would go out on the balcony and sing son of a sailor too myself...glad no one was listening...."i'm just glad i don't live in a trailer"........
