I have a suggestion since this will be your first time eating at Boma. Go to the free Culinary tour that day - it's held at either 3:45 or 4:00pm most days (meet at the Boma podium).

You will get to see all the pods and what Boma is serving that evening. You also should get a soup sample and a zebra dome!

The first time we dined st Boma (many years ago!), we never made it to all the pods (too full too fast!) and missed some of the best stuff! We never made that mistake again!

Since this will be our rest day this would be perfect! Thanks for the recommendation

Breakfast or dinner? Breakfast, I know, is very quiet right at opening. We love it that early - everyone waking up, etc.

Dinner, I would think the same - right away when they open would be your best shot. However, it is always packed, so no guarantees.

So I extended my September F&W Trip by a Day and added a stay at AKL Villas-Jambo in a Value Studio on Sept 19-20 then I am moving to CSR for the rest of my Trip. I'm excited as I always wanted to stay at AKL even better I will be able to use this day to relax for the rest of my trip.

Had our first stay at this resort July 19 thru 25th. Standard room, I requested close to transportation and lobby. We were given room 2033 Giraffe trail. Had bunk beds which made my 2 teen daughter's happy they didn't have to share a bed. Although the view wasn't great (it was of the transportation walkway) didn't matter to us as we aren't balcony sitters. Location was fantastic, there is a side door we used that was steps from our room and transportation. Close to the pool and Mara as well. Noise wasn't bad, but if any noise bothers you, this wouldn't be the location for you. Really enjoyed the resort and would stay again especially in this location!

We are booked February 5-9 CL. This is our 1st stay here and I am so excited. We are staying 4 nights at Beach Club first so plan to do most of our park stuff then so we can enjoy time at the resort.
