It's MARVEL-ous on the MAGIC! Oct 2017 Canada Coast Cruise COMPLETE! See Ya Real Soon!

Caught up again! Sorry to hear about the troubles with your dad, but glad that things have improved. Are you booking Alaska?! We are hoping to change our 2018 August Alaska to 2019 on Weds!

The show started, and let me tell you, this show blows any show I've seen on Disney cruises away! Both Pirate Night and Star Wars Dat at Sea really don't come close! There was actually a storyline, fighting, the characters were all interacting, Spidey flew down on the zip line...oh and Loki was being naughty again...hehe. It was a really great show and we were impressed!

This sounds amazing!!

Apparently superhero food at midnight means lots of sausage-like things. :rotfl:
And fruit.

:rotfl2:

Super excited about my Thor hammer glow cube!!

I love the popcorn bucket, and that's the coolest glow cube I've ever seen! Definitely a good reason to be excited!

Hopefully the in-laws could go! I imagine Alaska would be easier to get to from the West Coast vs NYC/Florida

My MIL and FIL are on-board once again! I think I have turned them on to Disney cruising! They had fun and weren't bored - they thought taking pictures with characters was good fun and they loved the shows! I really want my BIL and SIL and niece to go too but they cannot commit to anything right now. We are booked for Alaska in Sept 2019! So excited!

That is just too cute! I love all the little touches that make Disney cruises so magical.

Absolutely! I just die over stuff like this. I seriously might have cradled Thor's hammer towel in bed.

Superheroes are so not my thing, but even I can appreciate how cool it is to have all of them in one pic!

It was awesome, just a perfect picture moment! They even announced it...they said "Get your camera's ready!" and the flashes were popping up everywhere!

I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING!!!! What in the actual hell was up with that?!

Apparently there's a lot of sausage in superhero lore. :rotfl:

Oh, boy! Oh, boy! I'm really looking forward to hearing about this!!!

Coming soon!

O. M. G. I had the same thought!

Haha, apparently the superhero sausage fest is causing quite the stir!:stir:

:rotfl:

Yay!!! So excited to read all about this, as it would be something I'd LOVE to do someday, too!

It was amazing. I'll tell you right now to book a trip there as I'm definitely going back up again one day!

Hope your dad continues to get better and better, Su-Lynn :goodvibes

Thank you Tracy!!

If you do end up heading to Alaska and your ship stops in Victoria, let me know. I would be happy to play tour guide around my lovely city!

That is so sweet of you! I wish we were doing that cruise that stops in Victoria, it's the 9 night Alaska but it leaves in July and Steve can't take July off from work. Bummer! We are booked for a 7 night in September instead. Thank you for the offer though and I'd love to visit Victoria one day! I've seen it from Vancouver many years ago but never visited.

That glow cube hammer is adorable - it needs a tiny Thor to go with it ;-)

It does!! I'll take big Thor too.

What was with ALL the sausages??:rotfl2: I can't believe you've done all this so far and haven't even been to one port! So looking forward to your PEI adventure :dancer:

I know, right? So much to do on board the ship...all the eating...all the characters...LOL
PEI coming up next!

So I see you're hoping for Alaska in 2019 - we are hoping to book end of August 2019! Yes - again!! This time, KID FREE :scared1: Our 15th wedding anniversary is Aug 2019

Sorry we are missing each other! I hope you got through to DCL!!

Caught up again! Sorry to hear about the troubles with your dad, but glad that things have improved. Are you booking Alaska?! We are hoping to change our 2018 August Alaska to 2019 on Weds!

Thank you!! I really appreciate it and he's much better now, thank goodness!
We are doing Alaksa in Sept 2019. Did you manage to get through to DCL?

This sounds amazing!!

IT was a wonderful show. Not like I'm a cruise show connoisseur but it was pretty darn great!

I love the popcorn bucket, and that's the coolest glow cube I've ever seen! Definitely a good reason to be excited!

Haha, I am easily amused. Popcorn buckets and glow cubes are all it takes.

New here, and just reading this whole report. So sorry to hear about your dad!

Welcome!! And thank you, he's doing much better now!!

Amazing!!! That alone makes me want to book the cruise. It's the little things, right?

Absolutely! If there's a unique glow cube, sign me up!

YAY! It's a great trip. And also really good as a multi-generational one. We went with my mom and my DD who was 13 at the time. We saw lots of kids/adults/grandparent groups on that trip. It really was wonderful. There are lots of things to do off the ship, ranging from adventurous to pretty tame. Oh, and we have lovely views pretty much all the time. There is so much to see from the ship itself. I hope you have a blast! I wish I could have booked one today (the 9 night) but we already have a cruise to plan and pay for. Maybe next year.

Day 4: Prince Edward Island Part 1 Anne of Green Gables Heritage Site

We arrived at PEI early in the morning and we all woke up and grabbed quick breakfasts in Cabanas while the ship was moving in to dock.

Ok I might have had a bit more than just a light breakfast, but I was hungry and we needed to fuel up for our day ahead!

Prior to cruising I had booked all of us on a private tour with Duncan Island Tours. I booked the Island Scenic Drive with Anne of Green Gables which lasted about 4.5 hours. They got very high ratings on Tripadvisor and having a private car seemed like the best way to see the island without the usual "tour bus" feel. It was also about the same price as paying for all of us to go on one of the Disney Cruise excursions so to me it seemed like a good value.

The morning was cool and misty but we heard it was to get warm during the day so we all wore various layers and headed to Deck 3 so we could disembark. However it seemed like there was a delay in actually docking the ship. Apparently the tide was too low and the gangway/steps they had prepared were not going to work, so we all waited around for an extra half an hour before we could disembark.

Waiting:

Finally they had constructed/found the right contraptions so we could all get off the ship, so we disembarked and headed into the cruise terminal. The terminal was lovely - clean and spacious and had various vendors set up. Excited to check them out later!

We found our wonderful tour guide, Don, who was at the far end of the terminal holding a sign up with my name. He escorted us over to our private minivan and we were on our way!

I had to look back and take this picture of the Magic on her first visit to Prince Edward Island!

Don told us that the entire island was anticipating the arrival of the Disney Magic as it was the first time ever that one of it's ships has sailed and docked at PEI. He said many of the towns people drove to port early this morning to watch it dock. I found that to be so endearing as it would be totally something I'd do (and I have, when the Magic docks in NYC).

We started out by taking a leisurely drive around Charlottetown which is the main downtown area of the island.

Look I spotted Cows Ice Cream!! I must get some ice cream later!

Charlottetown was as charming as I expected it to be with old-world charm and beautiful houses and buildings. It seems like the perfect little seaside town.

Even the municipal and government buildings were so pretty!

We began our drive up to Cavendish which is where the location of Anne of Green Gables heritage site is. Along the way we witnessed some beautiful views. It was still misty and cool in the morning but that would soon change later. I thought the weather was perfect.

I took this on our drive up north, apparently this is one of the lakes where they grow and harvest mussels!

After about 30 minutes, I think, we arrived at Anne of Green Gables Historical Site. I'm so fan-girling right now!!

So for the entire 2017 was a big anniversary of Canada's national parks so all parks entrance fees were waived! I did apply to get a free pass online and they mailed one to me, but I didn't even need that here, we were just given some pins to wear on our clothing and we walked right in. Canada, you are great.

So Steve's parents and aunt do not know who Anne of Green Gables is and they have never heard of LM Montogmery or any of the books or movies. I think when I mentioned we were visiting Anne of GG historic site they thought she was a real person, and not a work of fiction LOL. I should have probably sent them some information prior to our cruise but they do have this little video on-site that you can watch for newbies so you understand the history of the place and how popular the books are around the world and how it's been made into countless movies, tv shows, etc. Basically the house located on this site was the house LM Montgomery grew up in with her grandparents and was the inspiration for her Anne of Green Gables books. I grew up watching the Sullivan Entertainment mini series with Megan Follows...anyone watched those? I was obsessed as a teen, to put it mildly.

I personally decided to forgo the intro movie and head straight for the house, as I noticed tour buses were beginning to arrive and I wanted to get a head start on getting some pictures!

You can see that people were slowly beginning to arrive...

Funny story...so one of the buses to arrive was a Disney excursion. And I see this couple staring at me as we were walking around the house taking pictures...then the guy comes up to me and says in almost a whisper "...Loki??" Hahaha I was dying. I told them yes I was and they mentioned they liked my costume, and we had a good laugh, it was really sweet and funny.

I walked into the house, and yes it is very small and a line does form when there's a lot of people but at least it gives you time to take ample pictures. Please enjoy these pictures from inside the Green Gables house:

It was a lovely historical house, and I liked how they created some scenes as if people actually lived there. Note that all the rooms are roped off so that's why it can be kinda tight when there is a crowd. The stairs are also really narrow!

When I exited the house I saw that they had set up this buggy and they had an actress portraying "Anne" hanging around to greet tourists.

I went up to her and asked her for a picture and so I said can I take a selfie? And she goes, what's that? She was so totally in character I forgot we weren't at a Disney park, hahaha.

Day 4: Prince Edward Island Part 2 Anne of Green Gables Heritage Site and more

After we all checked out the Green Gables House we took a walk down Lover's Lane...or at least what had inspired LM Montgomery to write about it!

We had a nice short stroll through the beautiful autumn woods before heading back out towards the entrance. The sun was beginning to really shine right now and you could tell it would get much warmer.

It is just sooo beautiful here. Everywhere you turn it looks like a postcard:

We spent a bit of time in the gift shop which sold lots of "Anne" merchandise. I didn't buy anything though.

I had a very unexpected Dismeet too...a lovely young lady came up to me and asked if I was Chunkymonkey! Who me?!? She said she was on the cruise with her boyfriend and that she's read my trip reports. How awesome!! That was so fun to have such another surprise Dismeet!

Everyone meet Donna: (I hope it's Donna! It's been a while since the cruise!)

Donna, if you're reading, thanks for saying hi! I hope you had a wonderful cruise and it was great meeting you! I hope our paths cross again!

BTW, we are booked on the Sept 9th 2019 sailing on the Wonder to Alaska (hint, hint, in case anyone else wants to join?!?) :grouphug:

It was time to leave Anne of Green Gables Heritage site and make our way to other locales. I had an awesome time visiting my childhood dream destination and I won't hesitate to go back again. It is just so picturesque there!

As we were heading back to the car I told Steve about my Dismeet and he's like, why are you so famous?!? :lmao: #obviouslynotonthedisboards

Our next stop was Cavendish Beach. We drove up and Don brought out a cooler of waters and a tupperware of homemade muffins which his wife makes each morning for his tour group. OMG these were awesome muffins!!! It was a lovely break in the morning and much appreciated. We enjoyed the muffins sitting on the bench enjoying the views then walked around to take pictures. It was windy but OMG just gorgeous!!

Muffins!

Of course it is glaringly sunny right now and I had left my sunglasses on board the ship.

Our next stop was a quick one, we visited one of the lobster fishing boat docks. The season was pretty much over but we got a nice tutorial on the types of traps they use and how to prepare the perfect lobster. We are all big lobster fans and were looking forward to some PEI lobsters for lunch already! Apparently there are a limited amount of lobster fishing licenses on PEI, so much so that to purchase one from somebody costs HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of dollars! These licenses have been in families and passed on for generations so most likely they won't be for sale that often.

Don giving us the overview of the lobster industry in PEI:

Seriously, can you take a bad picture on this island?!? There is some sorcery going on here...

We continued our drive through a gorgeous hillside area with some beautiful homes with jaw-dropping views. If I won the lottery I'd definitely buy a place here. After I buy a house at Golden Oaks of course. :rotfl:

Gosh I'd like to rent one of these houses for one day just to have that spectacular water view!

Coming up...more PEI and our delicious lobster lunch...!!

Yay, I am so excited. I've heard nothing but good things about Alaska cruises. I'm so pumped to bring my big DSLR camera out and take some pictures of the landscapes!!
I wish we could do the nine night too. Aside from being super pricey, Steve can't take off form work in July so all July itineraries are out. Boo.

Gosh it's just so pretty already, I was so excited!

OMG PEI in the Fall...I'd be excited, too! So pretty!

This is soo sweet! And super small-town Canadian! There was a massive ship that came in to Halifax last summer and everyone had to go down to the waterfront to catch a glimpse, and everyone was talking about it, it made the news, etc.

Look I spotted Cows Ice Cream!! I must get some ice cream later!

YUM!!

Charlottetown was as charming as I expected it to be with old-world charm and beautiful houses and buildings. It seems like the perfect little seaside town.

You are 100% right! Such a sweet little city.

So for the entire 2017 was a big anniversary of Canada's national parks so all parks entrance fees were waived! I did apply to get a free pass online and they mailed one to me, but I didn't even need that here, we were just given some pins to wear on our clothing and we walked right in. Canada, you are great.

Yeah, 2017 was a big deal here!! It was the 150th anniversary of Canadian Confederation—kinda like our birthday-ish, or at least the first big step toward the beginning of our lovely nation as we know it today—and there were a lot of things done to celebrate across the country throughout the whole year, and especially in the summer. Free national parks was definitely one of the coolest ones! We had some big events in the public gardens here, too, through the summer.

And I have to agree with you...Canada's pretty great. I'm a fan. :lovestruc

I think when I mentioned we were visiting Anne of GG historic site they thought she was a real person, and not a work of fiction LOL.

:rotfl: Aww! Oops, maybe you should have given them a little more background. :P

I grew up watching the Sullivan Entertainment mini series with Megan Follows...anyone watched those?

Yes!! Megan Follows is going to be doing meet and greets at one of the cons Nathan is working at this year and I'm super jealous and want to go.

And I see this couple staring at me as we were walking around the house taking pictures...then the guy comes up to me and says in almost a whisper "...Loki??" Hahaha I was dying.

:laughing: Cute!! That's awesome!! You made an impact! :goodvibes

I went up to her and asked her for a picture and so I said can I take a selfie? And she goes, what's that? She was so totally in character I forgot we weren't at a Disney park, hahaha.

:goodvibes Love this!!

When I was a kid they used to have actors playing Anne, Diana, Gilbert, at the Avonlea Village (which is kind of like a little made up village to represent the places in Avonlea in the books.) And I was IN AWE of them as a small child.

Everyone meet Donna: (I hope it's Donna! It's been a while since the cruise!)

sInZIqZo84pQXlKGA59lHovIED_QSIBu8xS1lvCBsnxXwo28WUgiXHIvpYa2yUeHeXxd0dZobOp0aK0yDdpGJtZRN3g2QABvgcO4mG21SmXKlVkp1LYSeCgEX2KbgE8HD2rO6maOTVuzS1f2ODsbS7gtQpyKa13NJXjziEQuOJWjY78ttyIiHNsV75UhKlHe_3qWkVo8oi6DNHEg6WlIaBOVH9O_dMa6MzZ3t9DPAxet1uMQz4MxJIdUdli_0mCMM90Ph29nTs1TJiTjPKJo17YFfsEbeJQqfSJ-_nWU9Tocad0g6kj2l2kor-sRs9ht8quE2-JSLwcspgkaWQfmkrSr4mwTOhs5YPTWSW2wOV7rzZeIASRkzccWsFSkTdzsPTDVQqqDWJic5C0IIek_N0t7CT6pI3xTeED_wAsmQHSnnVmRTZAe_JOKg5ycRPS6j55i7ooJdPTR52Pgc4yS7f7C3EkrrDNbNfwYwqd1gp6a1PPDLxNxOWzVltchuWSbUS6GczJPc--JydsJgRXpJHwvm5jTU8Ukguay2vRa0xNr3fFjFDc_tzUBGCfgDnWGOZClMwGT_cOd9w4rouAmvBzqUt1ewzyVEbPnYGMBiIb4x-mqi7PIZXxZU9CqwLoHz-AD5-YNVe4gZGqKwDc8XarOJ5pfYyQMZg=w478-h637-no

How cool! An unexpected Dismeet! You're obviously famous. :goodvibes

Our next stop was Cavendish Beach. We drove up and Don brought out a cooler of waters and a tupperware of homemade muffins which his wife makes each morning for his tour group. OMG these were awesome muffins!!!

Oh my gosh!! This is SOO PEI! :rotfl: That's really kind and adorable!

The red coastline though... :lovestruc I still have a sandstone I brought back from the beach at PEI when I was little. You saw some really beautiful spots this day!

Seriously, can you take a bad picture on this island?!? There is some sorcery going on here...

Right!?! Witchcraft!!

The kid on the stairs behind you is not as thrilled about disembarking apparently LOL

I grew up watching the Sullivan Entertainment mini series with Megan Follows...anyone watched those? I was obsessed as a teen, to put it mildly.
ME, ME, ME!!!! I LOVED it. My Mom and I bought it on VHS and eventually now own it on DVD, too. I adore Anne of Green Gables. I also used to watch Anne of Avonlea...I think that was on the Disney channel?? Maybe not, but loved that, too. Now there is an old cartoon of Anne of Green Gables, too, that my son randomly found on Qubo. It's a cartoon channel that shows a lot of old cartoons, lots of Canadian ones I'm not familiar with.

My Mom had bought me the whole set of LM Montgomery books, and I loved reading them as a kid. When I was home on maternity leave with Jimmy, I stumbled across the tv show Emily of New Moon, and was totally hooked. It reminded me of Anne of Green Gables right off the bat, and after googling found out that this show was also based off of LM Montgomery's books about Emily.

OK, rambling over, but you've now made me want to go dig out my books and movies and get lost on PEI again!

When I exited the house I saw that they had set up this buggy and they had an actress portraying "Anne" hanging around to greet tourists.
I love that little detail!!

I've been reading mostly but I'm so behind commenting, it's been so busy!

I really enjoyed breakfast outdoors with the beautiful weather, views, and lots of coffee. :)

I could do this everyday :)

Unlike the spa on the Dream class ships the Rainforest Room in the Magic doesn't have windows that look outside, but it's still a very relaxing space, with about 4-5 heated loungers, a few steam rooms, and a couple of showers. I don't really care for the showers but I loved the steam rooms and the heated loungers.

When I was done on the loungers we headed into one of the steam rooms. It was pretty big, with tiled benches and hand-held showers so you can use your scrubs and rinse yourself off. Let me tell you, I have never been more exfoliated in my life! The scrubby thing was nice but you didn't really need it as you can just use your hands as well. I loved the smell of the lavender scrub and my skin was so soft after!! BTW, the Rainforest room was empty at this time. Guess most people didn't care for it so early in the day, but I really enjoyed coming here in the morning!

After we were sufficiently polished we headed to the locker rooms and I decided to shower there. The showers are huge compared to the staterooms and the locker rooms provide everything you need, even facial cleanser and toner! I think I must have showered here more than in our stateroom throughout the whole cruise, and the best part was that it never got crowded, even with only 2 showers.
I want to try the Rainforest Room again after reading about your experience here! I was thinking maybe it wasn't for us after our trip... but I really loved the loungers! I could have spent awhile there, but I was struggling in the steam rooms? I grew up in the midwest, for goodness sake's! :rotfl: Zack liked the steam rooms but not the loungers... crazy!

Sorry I don't have great pictures, I didn't buy the Shutters photo package. It's just way too expensive and I never really loved the cruise photos enough to splurge on even a few. I decided to spend my money on the spa instead. If my sister were here though that would have been the first thing we bought for the cruise, hahaha.
I should have let them use my camera... Their packages are pretty crazy pricewise. Are they only good for the people in your stateroom?

Another fabulous Palo brunch in the books! This is a must-do when on a Disney cruise! And the more people you go with, the better as you can try more dishes and share them. Steve's parents enjoyed themselves, they thought the food was very good. Steve's dad really enjoyed the desserts. I think he definitely has a sweet tooth! Steve's aunt was overwhelmed by all the food, but we all told her this is what it's like on a cruise in America! Haha. I believe the cost is about 30 dollars per person? It's well worth it though! Best 30 bucks I ever spent on a cruise!
YUM.
Everything looks so good! This is top on my list for the family cruise. I really want to do it on a sea day too. They offered brunch on our Nassau day but it didn't work with our excursion, so we did dinner after Castaway Cay. So good...

I checked the Navigator on the app and it said that the Oceaneer Lab was having an open house so we headed over there.
Why didn't I use the app for the navigator? :confused3 D'oh!

Oh and a PSA about the movies or any theater show, if you bring your refillable popcorn bucket from the parks, you CAN get them refilled on the ship! Literally the best news ever when I heard that so I brought my popcorn bucket from August with me. Apparently they don't expire on the ships like they do at the parks, so bring any color bucket, and they will refill it for 1.50!
I wish I'd known this! We (really Zack) ended up getting popcorn for the theater show every night, plus for the movie theater once. I left our popcorn bucket behind at BLT because we didn't have room and it didn't make the cut...

Here was me the rest of the day:

Great view, some wine, good reads. That's all I need!
Looks like heaven to me! I would have loved to do this, or could have easily commandeered a lounge chair in the adults only area and read, but we were always too busy exploring the ship! 3 nights is great to see if you'll have trouble with sea sickness if you've never cruised, but way too short if you're fine! :rotfl:

I just wore a black lace dress which I found for 24 dollars on amazon (link here) and my Avengers statement necklace!
1. I am an Amazon clothes convert now, especially for dresses.
2. That necklace is amazing!

Our bread that evening was a banana bread with a mango dipping sauce. Very good, probably my favorite bread of the week.
Oh my god that looks good. I  love  bread!

Wow-looks like an amazing day so far! I loved Anne of Green Gables growing up, and I visited PEI in college (I went to McGill in Montreal) but didn’t get to see any of those sights since it was with a group of civil engineers! I loved that Don’s wife baked muffins for you!

I’m so jealous about Alaska! I’d love to go, but think I’ll save money to do an Asian Disney trip in 2020!

So glad your visit to PEI is off to such a wonderful start! I love it there, and Anne of Green Gables was a huge part of my childhood so I'm thrilled when I hear that others have a similar experience. Looks like you got some nice fall colours, blue sea, and blue sky - the perfect combination.

Your tour guide sounds amazing - homemade muffins! How cute is that?

In fact...all costumes should have capes (preferably below knee length).

Because a cape will make you feel like a boss.

Seriously, people parted like the red sea when you come walking down and have a flow-y cape behind you.

Not sure if it was because I was dressed like a villain or not...:rotfl:
:rotfl:
OK I am just wondering...we saw lots of people wearing DC Comics clothing...Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman...is it because they don't know that DC and Marvel comics are actually different companies and competitors? I think some people just didn't know...or maybe they are just really into DC and are in silent protest that Disney bought Marvel? Thought it was funny. :rotfl:
I am definitely not up on who belongs to who for the comics... but I would also probably look into that before picking my clothes because I'm OCD like that :)

I think I was a little in awe meeting him, as he's like, "Are you up to no good, Loki?" and instead of coming back with some intelligent quip, all I said was, "Um, yeah."
Every face character interaction I have.

#naughtyloki
Best hashtag ever!

Can Disney ever get Star-lord's hair right? :rotfl:
:rotfl:

The following characters were just roaming around the ship: Star-lord and Gamora, Doctor Strange, Hawkeye (and later on in the cruise: Black Panther, Spiderman)
I love the roaming characters, that's so cool!

I think he had fun too considering I was one of the few people dressed as Loki on the ship.
I bet they have lots of fun when someone dresses as them, vs all of the Elsas I mean Spidermans and Captain Americas.

The Doctors Strange. I like how the one on the left is just wearing scrubs, it's perfect!
That is hilarious!

Then they said to strike a pose like Loki, and I was at a loss, because its not like I have been practicing Loki poses so I struck a pose that more resembled Elsa and her ice powers. Sigh. At least they are all kinda related to Norse mythology....:rotfl:
I think it works :) Again, I am not up on my comic knowledge... I've actually never heard of Loki *hangs head*

I love the characters being dressed up. And also this photo in general :)

We hung out in the atrium and oh a bunch of Guardians decided to do a little dancing:
I love how Gamora is just leaned against the wall like she is so much cooler and those two are ridiculous :rotfl:

They look so philosophical...

Ravager's Devils Food Cake - I think it was pretty good, nice and chocolate-y.
What more could you ask for in cake? Sounds right up my alley!

Fantastic update! PEI looks beautiful. I'm glad you were able to visit, and thankful that you're taking the rest of us along on your journey.

After about 30 minutes, I think, we arrived at Anne of Green Gables Historical Site. I'm so fan-girling right now!!

I grew up watching the Sullivan Entertainment mini series with Megan Follows...anyone watched those? I was obsessed as a teen, to put it mildly.

OMG YES!!!! I loved that mini series. So much so that I can't watch the new Anne stuff I have heard about. I saw it when it was showed for the first time on PBS and I have the DVDs now. Megan Follows & Coleen Dewhurst are Anne and Marilla to me. I've been waiting for this part and I wasn't even on the cruise!

Haha! You're famous!

There was a little cafe where you can get coffee and stuff and I settled for a raspberry cordial!

How was it? Well it's just sugary flavored water so nothing too special but I'm glad I tried it!!

Of course. What else could you drink when you're at Green Gables.

This is a beautiful shot of you! :goodvibes

I look like I have a crown of branches in the picture above!!
:rotfl: Which reminds me of our Liberty Tree Tavern picture... where you had a pretty awesome set of Mickey ears made out of cast irons mounted on the fireplace

I had a very unexpected Dismeet too...
Fun!

BTW, we are booked on the Sept 9th 2019 sailing on the Wonder to Alaska (hint, hint, in case anyone else wants to join?!?) :grouphug:
An Alaska cruise... I've always wanted to do one of those! :thumbsup2

As we were heading back to the car I told Steve about my Dismeet and he's like, why are you so famous?!? :lmao: #obviouslynotonthedisboards
:rotfl2:

We drove up and Don brought out a cooler of waters and a tupperware of homemade muffins which his wife makes each morning for his tour group.
This is so sweet! I love that! :goodvibes

Sounds like a wonderful start to the day, what a lovely place PEI is. I'd really like to go someday! ::yes::

I'm enjoying your report very much. I loved reading Anne of Green Gables as a girl. I tried to get my daughter to read them, but she'd rather read Harry Potter. Go figure.

Just joining now, coming over from my TR
