How's May??

We've either always gone March or Sept. We love sept....but with the hurricanes this year I'm having second thoughts about that time for 2005. How is early May? crowds...weather etc???

the crowds in may(memorial day weekend)...how shall i say this...



I went last year in May around Memorial Day time and the ENTIRE place was packed. Wall to wall people...I don't remember being abl to walk anywhere with out dodging bodies.

Even the water parks were JAMMED packed with people.

When they closed the parks for the night, there were so many people that they had to escort over half of them through the back/side gates of the parks

As for the weather, it was nice, if you're a pancake...... so bring an to keep the sun out...(it was over 95 degrees EVERY DAY! sun up-sundown)

i suggest planning your trip for any time OTHER than memorial day time

We love May. In fact we are going back in May 2005. The weather was hot but not as hot as our June trip and we did get a few showers but they did not last. I also thought the wait times for popular attractions were not that bad. I don't think we waited longer than 15 minutes. Plus the Flower and Garden show is going on.

We've gone the first or second week of May the past 5 years. A great time to go. Crowds are not bad. Flower & Garden Festival is in full swing at Epcot. Weather can be hot. This year was only mid 80's but other years were well into the 90's. Little rain.

Of course Memorial Day weekend will be crowded , and it gets warmer as you get closer to June. So go in early May or mid-May.

We went mid-May this year and had an awesome time! Crowds were not bad at all and for the 9 days we were there it only rained one time for about an hour. -Stephanie

Hey Dansyr... How was your recent trip to WDW? I read your pre-trip report and everyone is wondering how things went with your DBF.

I didn't have the heart to post a trip report because things were just not all that great. We did have a great time together but it was rough because I was getting very mixed messages. We acted as though nothing was wrong most of the time and treated me as his gf...and sometimes even mentioned wife but then she would call his cell phone or he would have to take time to call her. Right now ...I'm not sure where we are at . He is still seeing her but spending alot more time with me. He did promise ...no matter what.... we would take our yearly trip to wdw though. So I guess I'll just keep planning and see where life takes me.
Sorry to be such a downer...but I just thought I'd fill you in.
