How long does it take to get a quote from Dreams Unlimited?

I got mine in less than 24 hours. I did get a "welcome, we're working on your quote" email a within a few house of submitting
 
I agree....ridiculously long time..I emailed them with my info on June 3rd. They sent me a hello email right away and told me they would be back with me soon, but not a word since..When I heard nothing by last weekend, I booked my own package as they are very limited for the Free Dining Packages. Still have not heard from them six days later. I am sure glad I did not wait for them to get back to me, as I have the resort and dates I want doing it myself. If you have not heard anything I suggest booking it yourself it was very easy.... :sunny:
 
always within 24 hours. Check your spam box. If you are on aol, it's keyword: spam folder.
 
use Dream Come True Vacations... they are SO GOOD at responding right away and bending over backwards to make your trip as magical as they can! tell them dcibrando sent you :)
 
I am also using Dreams Unlimited for the first time. This free dining just got too confusing for me. I got a quote back from SueEllen within 24 hours. She has answered all of my questions by the end of the day. She has been nothing but helpful and I can be a pain. So far they have been very very helpful. It is so much easier than doing it yourself.
 
Got my quote also within 24 hours. Shirley is my agent and she has been very helpful. I will definitely use them again. :earsboy:
 
24 hours????? That's a long period of time. I like mine back within a couple hours - 4 or 5 is stretching it...

My TA at Dream Come True Vacations is think is wired at all times. Replies within the hour... well once I think was 3, but they have to sleep sometime...
 
I got mine from DU in 4 hours. Requested at 8am got it at Noon. Booked at 12:30.

Get real - you can't expect everyone to get back to you that quickly if they are swamped with requests and I am sure the people that have already booked with them get first priority to new bookings. I would hope at least that would be what they do. I definitely would want preference if they had my money already over someone just emailing.

I guess the agency you work for isn't as busy as Dreams

Totally agree. I have never had a problem with DU before. Sue Ellen is the best.
 
If you book with DU now and then a better deal becomes available, do they let you know that? For example, I'm thinking of booking a savannah view at AKL for June 2006, will they check all along the way and makes changes?

(Thanks for the help. I'm new at this, given that I'm a DVC member, but this time I'm paying cash).

Most of the Disney specialist agencies do this - many will automatically change your ressie for you to save you money.

Yes Viki, if you book with Dreams and a lower rate comes available your rate will automatically be adjusted and you will be notified of the savings.

Also, for those of you who have submitted a request and may not have received the email back (due to spam filters, etc.)...anytime after you have submitted the request you can log onto the client services area of the website with your reservation number and your password to view the reservation details. If the reservation has not yet been processed the page will not show your details, but will be updated once the reservation has been processed.

If I forget and use my office email account.... FOREVER LOL! They get caught by the spam manager! Otherwise pretty fast.
 
Thank you all for responding. I am defininately going to check them out. I like planning all the details of our trips, but I do get caught up in regular non-Disney life now and then, and could easily miss something that might make it possible for us to go even more often! :Pinkbounc

Yes they do, Rhonda my DU agent actually called me at work the moment that the free dining package came out to tell me about it. This is the first time that I have ever used anyone to do my Disney trips but I would do it again in a heart beat. Thanks for all your help Rhonda!

After planning over 30 WDW trips, I am letting DU plan our two trips this winter. I have always gotten good room only discounts, but I'm tired of the WDW code games.

Sue Ellen has been excellent. She replies to my questions very fast and has great patience with my nonsense. I'm a control freak, but trust Sue Ellen 100%. If a discount is available she will get and I don't have to be on the phone listing to that music.
 
I have also booked with them for my upcoming trip and am so glad now not to worry about it, we have PAP, and I certainly have no idea on what to do right now....
I have workied with DU on 3 cruises, and have always been pleased, it is my first time working with them for WDW...
