Help with my crazy reservations!

We are headed to Orlando to house hunt on the 17th. I tried to get three nights at the HRH or Portofino for the 18th, 19th and 20th. All but the 18th were SOLD OUT. So I booked the 18th directly with Universal at an entertainment rate for the HRH. Then I did an internet search and booked the 19th at the HRH with a hotel broker. My question is: Will I have to check in..then check out and then check in again..or will they combine my two reservations?

Ask them to link the reservations when you check in so you don't have to check out and check back in and waste valuable park time.
