We did the haunted hayride last October. It's first come, first served and they had been selling out each night, so go get in line early and bring cash to pay for your ticket.
Be aware that they won't start the hayrides until after it gets dark, so you may be standing there for a good amount of time. We were in line for the first one and it was delayed by a good 20 minutes or so before we were given the all clear.
It was a fun ride, but it isn't something we'd do more than once every few years.
You may want some bug stuff for when you're standing in line and no photos or videotaping allowed on the ride.
