GradBash?

Hi all! I'm a FL teacher chaperoning a senior class trip to GradBash this Friday. Very excited to get to visit the Studios (we are admittedly Disney people).

I know this is a long shot but I'm hoping an employee or someone in the "know" can help: what restaurants are open for Gradbash? Are all of the rides open?

As a chaperone, you play a key role in the success of the event for your school’s students. Your involvement
and visibility during the events will help to deter inappropriate acts by those attending. Please review this entire

Chaperones are encouraged to go out and visit the different areas of the park, being visible to students
during this special event. We know that adult visibility helps make this event more enjoyable for
everyone attending.
CHAPERONE WRISTBANDS
In order to clearly identify chaperones, you will be asked to wear a checkered wristband
throughout the night. Chaperone wristbands will allow Chaperones to experience special VIP extras
including the following:
• Universal ExpressSM Unlimited ride access* to participating rides and attractions
• Access to chaperone-only lounges with complimentary snacks and drinks
• Complimentary breakfast
*Valid during Grad Bash only. Unlimited ride access limited to one person per wristband. Some attractions excluded. Additional restrictions may apply and benefits are subject to change without notice.
CHAPERONE LOUNGES
We invite you to take a break at either of our chaperone-only lounges located at Mythos Restaurant®
in Universal’s Islands of Adventure® and Pantages Theater in Universal Studios Florida®.
• Universal’s Islands of Adventure® – Lounge is located at Mythos Restaurant. Chaperones can play
casino games and enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks.
• Universal Studios Florida® – Lounge is located at Pantages Theater. Chaperones can watch
movies or watch sports on TV and enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks.

I was wondering the same thing. I chaperoned with my sons school last year and for the most part, the adults were in the lounges while the kids went by themselves. There were some exceptions but by and far there were very few adults walking around compared to the number of kids. USF did have a large number of staff on hand that were in certain areas.
I only saw the chaperone areas as I walked by.

I'm going to add to this for anyone looking for more recent info.

Took our class of Seniors to this once, and will never do it again. There were basically two types of schools there....schools with students that were polite, and chaperones that cared about what was going on all night, and schools with students that were obnoxious and rude, with chaperones that went and hid and did nothing to make sure the evening was pleasant for everyone.

Unfortunately, the 2nd group dominated the night.

Take an assessment of who your students are, and what you will do as a chaperone, before choosing to go.
