So, I'm now on My Disneh Experience and can see booking etc (yeah!). Sent family invite to DH so when the time comes he can help with ADRs. He got the email but when he clicks on it it says he's to log in...he hasn't got a Disney website acct so went to open one but it's saying he's already got one. When he does a "send password reminder" it then says he's not registered! Anyone had this issue and managed to resolve it without having to spend ages on the phone to Disney? While I don't mind being the sole person in charge of bookings etc, would be nice if he could at least access the information

Thanks

as it happens, i just spoke with the disney computer/MDE support people today and they were able to link our MDE accounts..
i suggest you call them..

let me look up the number as it's not the same as the regular disney number....and the hours are only the regular US hours...

this is the number: 0800 16 90 749

even though it's a UK number, it will connect you directly with the US disney computer specialists..

it took the woman i spoke with exactly 2 seconds to link our accounts..
.

I thought I'd probably have to call as seemed to be in some weird loop. I'm working tomorrow so will maybe try and give them a call at the end of the week. Just would be nice if DH could help with the ADR / fastpasses when the time came for nimble fingers lol!

be sure to call that special number as when i asked a regular disney person (at the regular disney number), she said i would have to erase everything etc etc
i nearly had a heart attack when she said it...
i just said 'thanks' and hung up FAST.....didn't let her touch my account..

then as soon as it was eastern US hours, i called the specialist computer /MDE support number (i listed above) and she helped in the blink of a eye..
but first i had her assure me that none of our FPs would be hurt in the process!!!!

+1 on the MDE Helpdesk, they are great. As long as you've booked direct they can do everything. 3rd Party bookings they can be more limited with though.

Also, if you want to book an activity that isn't dining (like a horse and carriage ride, or watersports etc), there is not a UK number. I just call the MDE helpline and ask to be put through, they've always been very accommodating. They answer the phone alot quicker than the ADR line!

Even if you are not linked by 180 Days for ADRs, he can use his account to book dining, then add others on the party later when you are linked. Makes booking a lot quicker to link everyone else later

okay,
so you're husband has a disney account. Maybe not a MDX account but a disney account

a few years ago, Disney merged the authorisation systems into one.
So, if you have any disney account, opened with the same email, you should be able to open MDX with it
such sites include ESPN.com, ABC.com, Disney privileges, disney channel, and so on. basically any disney owned website

so your husband can try to log in with that email (the one that says he's already got an account) and with the password he remembers from one of a disney site he's registered on in the many years ago.

the issue is that, if you have used the same email to register accounts on several Disney owned sites, but with a different password, then the account si *jammed* and you need to call the IT helpdesk, to get a special password reset link.

now, the other part of your question is taht your husband does not need to have his own account.
If you booked a package, he probably already shows up on the reservation as an identity managed by you. You maybe could share your account (password) and he could manage the reservations from there, under your account. It's not mandatory that every party member have their own account
now, if you don't want to share your login/password on MDX, the first part of my answer stands.
