Fairfield Inn @ Lake Buena Vista

I've stayed in the Marriott Village (Springhill Suites) but not at the Fairfield and can't provide information about that specific hotel. I thought Springhill Suites were good value for the money paid. The grounds of the village are nice, with access to variety of eating places (some walking distance of the property). Proximity to Downtown Disney is good and I found the commute to Disney parks to be very short driving time.

Haven't stayed at the Fairfield, but we stayed at the Courtyard by Marriot in the same complex. It is a gaited complex with a nice food court and arcade. Fairfield has a free continental breakfast which Courtyard does not. The complex is fairly new and very clean.

The Courtyard has a great indoor/outdoor pool with a waterfall that you can swim through. The outdoor side of the pool has a zero entry which is nice for little ones. There are two hot tubs - one inside and one outside. As a Fairfield guest you can use the pool at Courtyard.

We didn't use the busses, but they come often - didn't hear of any complaints.

We really liked this area and had no trouble at all driving to the parks and as previously posted, it is very close to Downtown Disney and area restaurants.

If going to Universal - the traffic does backup. We noticed heavy traffic on the road to the outlet mall as well (may have been due to Saturday night mass at the Catholic church).

We would definately stay hear again (especially since we got it for $25/night)

We stayed at Fairfield last year for 10 days. This complex was only a few months old when we stayed and so it was spotless and very organized. There is a free breakfast (fruit, juice, muffins, coffee/tea) for Fairfield and Springhill guests. You can use any of the pools, Courtyard's is the best and the rooms are quite spacious. There is a Disney Planning Centre on site, food court, kids club, business centre, games room, gym and various restaurants nearby. Within walking distance is the new outlet mall (very nice). It's literally minutes away from Disney and Sea World - you can even see the Downtown Disney hotels from across the street. We thought it was a great complex and would definitely stay here again - although this year we will probably be staying on site because we are only going for 3 days to Disney before our cruise. We used the transportation and it was excellent. They do charge a $7.50 Resort fee - there is still conflicting info about this because they usually don't tell you about it (we weren't so we didn't have to pay it). It's supposed to be for transportation, kids club and Disney planning centre. Many people did not pay it when we were there because they weren't told about it, or they didn't really utilize the services that it's supposed to cover. I would check into it before you book just so you know how much it is - either way the rates at this complex are quite reasonable. You should enjoy your stay here.
