DL train and strollers to go-go...

1.) Has anyone ever taken (or seen anyone else take) a foldable dual-stroller on board the DL train, or can you only take a smaller (single/ umbrella) stroller folded up on it instead?

2.) Also, does the DL train really work as a nice way to get around the parade and/ or Fantasmic crowds for those of us who might (regrettably) skip those shows in favor of more rides/ attractions?

Thanks! pirate:

You can fold a stroller and take it on board. You can't take an open stroller on.

Sometimes its a good way to avoid crowds, sometimes not. Depends on what is going on and where you are. If you want to get from Tomorrowland to main street or New orleans square during F! or fireworks, it can be a good way to go. NOS to toon town isnt even too bad. But, toon town station (which really isnt in toon town, its near the fantasyland theater) to tomorrow land can take a while during fireworks. Because the fire works are shot off in toon town and there are projections on the front of small world, sometimes the train has to sit back there for a little bit. But, since the fireworks are changing soon, it might not be as big of an issue.

I would try it once to see how much of a pain in the rear it is for you. Then you will know if it is worth it or not. Don't forget about all the stuff you have on the stroller that will have to come off and be carried, oh and then there are the kids... Sometimes it's more trouble than it's worth. We don't usually use it as a way to move between the lands but to get off our feet for a little while and keep our dd more entertained than if we were just sitting on a park bench. We usually take several trips around the park at a time.
