Dining configurations aboard Rhine cruise?

My family will be travelling on the holiday Rhine cruise and we are travelling with some family friends we met through ABD, as well as two sets of parents. My question is how flexible were the dining seating configurations about the ship? We are a family of five by ourselves, but may want to eat with a group of 10 or 9 depending on the evening. Thanks!

We were on the holiday Danube last year (and we'll be on the Rhine this year, too).

There are booths and 4 top tables as well as larger circular tables that seat 6 (or 8?). There are 2 wine rooms at the front of the dining room room where the teenagers/tweens eat.

There aren't any assigned seats; the tables of four are arranged so that 2 are pretty close to each other so dining with 8 would be fairly easy. The dining staff is very accommodating so if it's possible they might be able to put together a table for 10. That said, with one seating for dinner means everyone is in the dining room at the same time so it gets pretty full/crowded.

We always got there early to make sure that we would get the table we wanted!
