What happens if you use your Das approximately one hour prior to park on an attraction that has over an hour wait? Let's say that we use the Das at 8 p.m. on Seven Dwarfs when the park is closing at 9 in the wait time is 100 minutes will they deny the Das pass if the wait time exceeds the time of park closing?

if they have a posted Wait time, they would be letting people ride who are in that line. So, they could use that wait time (or whatever park closing would be) for your Return Time.
They do close the standby lines at some point so that more people don’t enter.

I have done just this a few time I will get one of 3 things like normal wait time -10 minutes and adjusted wait time ( sometimes the wait time is longer than the real wait, and a sometimes ( not that often ) would you like to ride now. But if they closed the standby line before the park closes ( only seen this happen the first-day or tow pandora opened they closed FOP a few hour before EMH that night) then you will not be able to get a DAS return time.

I am not sure about at Disney World, but at Disneyland the policy is you can enter the queue until the closing announcement is made (except rides that close earlier than the rest of the park due to fireworks or world of Color). There have been some very rare exceptions made to this, but in general this even applies to queues with two plus hour queues at closing time.

How they handle the DAS is if the return time would be after park closing, they adjust it to approximately 30 minutes before closing, unless there is less than 30 minutes left, then to about 10 minutes or so.
