Cruise questions

You can google and probably find some different menus online (check the Disney Blog). Pretty much everything for breakfast - omelets, eggs benedict, waffles, pancakes, fruit, cereal; sandwiches and salads for lunch; for dinner - Chicken, steak, seafood, pasta, soups, salads, appetizers, vegetarian, gluten free... There is also a buffet. Near the pool there are hotdogs and hamburgers, wraps and salads, soft serve ice cream, pizza, Shawarma (on the Magic, at least); chicken fingers (on Fantasy and Dream). And room service- sandwiches, cheese platters, chicken wings, continental breakfast, etc. That is the free stuff.

There is also candy, popcorn, fancier Italian food at Palo - all for a fee; and really fancy french food at Remy on Fantasy and Dream for a bigger fee! And now you can get fancier ice cream and Gelato for a fee, on the Fantasy and maybe the Dream (I think)?- all for a fee.

Standard rooms are small compared to a hotel but larger than most other cruise lines - especially the older ships of other cruise lines (IMHO). Lots of creative use for storage. Most (there are variations so not all rooms will match this description) have a split bathroom - one toilet and sink, the other with bath/shower and sink. Closet, desk, dresser-like built in with drawers, bedside tables, couch (converts to a bed at night), queen bed, ottoman, padded stool to sit on at the desk; small fridge/cooler; more storage; tv. If the room fits 4 it has a pull down bunk from the ceiling that goes up and can't be seen during the day. Sleeps 5 usually has a murphy bed. Then either a balcony or large window. Insides don't have those, but on Dream and Fantasy they have the magical porthole - a circular tv that shows camera views from the front or side of the ship.

You should go to the DCL website and look at different stateroom types. You will begin to get an idea of what type of options you have, depending upon the size group you are sailing with.

As for food, very many different foods are available. As others have stated, a simple internet search will allow you to see menus from the different Main Dining Rooms, often written as MDRs here.

Sounds like you are a first time cruiser.... check out the YouTube vids for ideas....
