Connecting Teens Phones To MyDisney Experience?

Hi Everyone,

We're headed to Disney this week! I just realized that we don't have magic bands but all my kids, of course, have phones and one has a smart watch. If we split up, can they use their phones and sign in to rides without me? How do they link up to their tickets if they don't have magic bands? Download MyDisneyExperience and then.. what? Sorry to sound like such an amateur!

Once your kids have the MDE app, they can use your log in. Double check that info is linked. You can go to guest services at the park to get them a card to use for tap in also. If you’re at a WDW resort- the front desk CMs should be able to give you cards for the kids. Some people find tapping in to rides using their phones not as easy as using a card.
