Blizzard Beach Expansion??

Just seen some pics on Twitter that suggest work may be underway on a Blizzard Beach expansion! Land clearing has begun near to the "closed for refurbishment" red slopes.

There have not been any construction permits for this, so it's either early prep work and we will see permits soon, of it's just something routine and not an expansion.

They can do minor work without a permit, right?

With the red slopes being closed for the past few months and no visible work having been done to fix them, it sounds too coincidental not to be something IMO. And Blizzard Beach definitely needs something new!

It has to be under $2500 to not need a notice of commencement, so it would have to be something extremely minor. As I said, it could just be that they haven't filed permits yet.

Just confirmed with the Twitter user about when these photos were taken, and he confirmed they were taken yesterday.

Yes, but they could have been taken a year ago and looked the same.
