Beach Club Villas

Good morning,

We have just returned from our yearly trip home. Unfortunately we have borrowed almost all the points we have at OKW. So, what does a person do?!... They buy more points!!!

OK, so on to my question. We would like to purchase 250 additional points, but we would rather buy at the new Beach Club Villas. Our problem is that we have PAP's and need to go home again next summer (some "problem" huh?). We could buy into the Wilderness Lodge Villas, but would much rather buy at Beach Club. I cannot get any firm information regarding when these will be sold and if the sales would be soon enough so that we could book accomodations for summer 2002. Any information any of you could give us would be most appreciated. Thank you.

As of this moment, the "official" word from DVC is that BCV is due to open in Fall, 2002. There has been no announcement about when sales will begin.

There has been speculation that BCV may offer presales- which is fine to make sure you get to buy there, but still will do no good until the resort actually opens and those points could be used.
There has also been suggestion that the resort could open as early as Spring, 2002- but with the recent developments, that may also not be a likelyhood.

If you can't borrow from 2003 for next year, consider a cash trip to try other resorts or rent from a member.
