BBC News has multiple articles around the anniversary today. One of them, "How Disney Took Over the World," is apparently only available in their mobile app; I can't find it on their website. But here's an interesting one about the history of the flag seen flying over the castle at the start of Disney films. The flag has the family crest from the UK:

The Lincolnshire village honoured in every Disney film since 2006

The article includes some short footage of Walt's family visiting the town in 1949.

Thanks! I tried a bunch of different search terms this morning but couldn't for the life of me find it.

There's also this one:

The Disney 100 Exhibition will open in Chicago in November. It was in Philadelphia for six months earlier this year. Other cities not announced yet (but there sure should be at least one in California!).

I went to it in Philly! I wondered how the European tour differs, but probably not too much. Though they'd have to have different props in some sections as there's only the one of each.

Yeah, I'd think it'll go to California eventually, but I do know that it's going to Kansas City after Chicago.
