We just got back from our 4th DVC stay. We tried Club Level at AKL...not sold in it. But at least I can say tried it. Our trip was from April 12-19 and incliuded 5 of us...me, DH, DS, DD, and DF.

Day 1. Check in at AKL. Hubby and kids took dme while dad and I picked up rental car.

This is the best sign ever!

We got to resort about 30 minutes quicker than dh and kids. We were not the only ones trying to checkin around 2 pm. We were maybe the 5th family inline. We got to have a few snacks before checking in. When we did finally get checked in, the room was ready right away. We had a room on the savannah. Great I thought..... Not so much. We saw one ostrich in 5 days. ONE OSTRICH! They were working on the roof, so much of the area below the balcony was fenced off.

This was our view.

Note..... We usually take mid day naps and don't like pool views anywhere due to noise. So when I saw that we had a savannah view I was relieved. That did not last long. The roof repairs were noisy.
First park.... AK. Now we got there 430 ish and it was not busy at all. I thought that for the weekend before Easter the parks would be busier (this would change). Dd and I did Primevil Whirl with less than a 5 minute wait 6 times. Then she road the Dino's.

Sometimes the CM's let her just stay in Dino for the next ride. DH and DS did Everest. They used our 4 fast passes and then did single rider loops for approximately 45 minutes.

We never got a chance to check out the lounge for appetizers or desserts, it was early to bed for us as we had to get up early the next day.

Up early for the sunrise safari. We were one of the last club only guests for the safari. I believe it changes this week. I was glad we did it! The start time ended up being changed by the time we got up.... Earlier than we were told the night before. They must have slid the new letter under our door during the night. No worries. Who needs to straighten their hair or wear make up on vacation?
While on the safari, we got to see how baby antelope are made. The CMs were feeding the alligators their weekly chickens. After visiting Gatorland in Orlando a few years ago.... This hardly phased the kids. We were fortunate to see the lions out but still resting.

Here are some pics from the ride. I loved all the extra info we got from the CM's....more than we could ever learned from doing the regular ride.

Who knew that these animals are closely related to giraffes?! I would of thought zebra.

We stayed at AKL for 2-3 hours after the breakfast. Not bad.... I liked that they had egg whites as an option for the omelet station. The special banana French toast was 'meh' in my opinion.

Our table had a name tent on it when we got there.

We rode this ride a few more times.

Back to the room for naps. And a quick trip to pool. Quick.... The weather was not as warm as we were hoping for.
We headed to HS around 6ish on a whim. Again, I thought the parks were not that crowded. My plan for Tuesday was to go to HS at rope drop to sign up dd for the Jedi training academy as she has a new found love for all things Star Wars. So I thought I would double check where I needed to go first thing Tuesday morning. When I went in the building (can't recall the name but it was near Indy and Star Tours) to double check.... They still had openings for the 8pm show!!! I was so happy. But wait.... I was going to tell dd about the possibility on Monday..... Now I had less than 60 minutes to get her ready and psyched up. It all worked out perfectly..... She did not have a chance to ask too many questions or jump up too much! We did watch the jta show before hers so she would know what to expect. Sadly one of the girls is the early show was a bit too afraid and had to be taken off stage by her dad. During dd show, Darth scared one of huge kids so much he had to get a change of clothes right after the show. The CM's didn't miss a beat with that little mishap. I was very impressed with the show and professionalism if the stage CM's. Because this was a quick trip we decided not to take the camera ( the horror!), DH has a camera with all the special lenses and filters and doo dads that are carried around in their very special camera bag. But that was not with us. Doh! We had photo pass.... Great. No, not really, The pics of my Jedi were not that great. Sigh. All pics came from my phone. But the memory is awesome. All week, dd used her padawan powers to open doors (electrics and monorail) and make the fireworks explode in MK.

Take notice of the towel on the ground.

opps... a bit out of order.

We made it to the lounge for desserts. Nothing too great. So far we had had snacks on Saturday at checkin and desserts Sunday night. And lemonade and soda.
