How far from the Orlando airport/airport area hotels is the Portofino Bay Hotel? Miles? Minutes? Easy to get a cab? Cost of cab?

We're in the process of deciding what to take from the airport to RPR. It's apprx. 30 min. to hotel. You might want to check out a towncar shuttle instead of a taxi, only because it would be a set rate whereas a taxi's meter will keep running even in heavy traffic. Check out "floridatowncar.com", "happylimo.com" , or tiffany. All run service from airport to hotels, either one way or roundtrip. AND, they will meet you at the luggage pickup.

Iuse the mears shuttle whenI fly alone but with the family we use the limo because it's just about the same price but he will stop for you at a store.
