A little background. We live in a rural neighborhood with 90 homes. DH goes all out for Halloween. It takes him a month to set up a dozen Animatronics, plus a dozen more special effects. He's an electrical engineer, so he lives for Halloween!! I usually take our dd's trick or treating. Our older dd, Andi has gone on our neighborhood hayride since she was 2. Our younger dd, Zoe, who has ASD is 4, and has refused each year. This year, she rode on the little kid hayride with her cousin!!
She did great. No clinginess, nothing. She understood to say Trick or TReat, and did that in her own quiet little way. The little kid hayride had about 20 other kids, all excited. I am so proud of her!!!
