10 years Cancer Free Celebration

I've wanted to do a Panama Canal Rep cruise for a very long time. Something always seemed to get in the way. Friends were talking about cruising in 2016 and I realized 2016 was ten years after my Cancer diagnosis and treatment. That realization sealed the deal for me. Now it's just waiting for DCL to release the Westbound cruise date. Judging by history it will be the first cruise date announced in the next set of dates to be released. And the May date is important because May 15th is the date they removed all of the cancer.

So now I wait and peruse the Navigators from this past Spring's repo. And speculate if they will use the Wonder or the Magic if they finish the Panama Canal in time. And drool over pictures of Palo. Maybe run thru the food porn in the DCL food thread. Also try to decide on a good FE gift.

Congrats on the Cancer Free Anniversary! In June of this year I will have been in remission from Leukemia for 19 years! So I know it is definitely a good thing to be able to celebrate! So happy for you that it will be on a Disney Cruise! Hope you have fun planning and looking forward to everything!

I can't believe my cruise is this year. We are paid in full, of course. We are linked to a couple friends so we can dine together. Excursions, spa and Palo booked. FE gift decided. Guilt for missing my niece's college graduation assuaged. Plane reservations made. Lists to be made. Wardrobe to be decided. Sewing projects to be decided. Only 111 days to go! I'M SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!!!!!!
