Rider switch when child is “afraid” to ride

My ds was afraid of everything when he was younger. Our trip in late November was the first time he ever rode most of the thrill rides and he is 17 now. I have been refused rider swap with him many times over the years. By the time he was 9, I would just have him go through the line and...

I suffered in pain several years at Disney before I finally gave in and rented a scooter. i will never again go without one. Yes I can walk, but not long especially on cement. We have always rented from Buena Vista Scooter. This spring I bought one for use at local parks, fairs, malls...

QUESTION ON TRANSPORTING PERSONAL ECV WHEN FLYING

I have a personal scooter but I was thinking of renting from a vendor for our trip. i'm afraid it might get damaged on the plane. Has anyone ever had theirs damaged. If I rent I won't have it for the airport.

How old is too old for a stroller for WDW?

Kids ride in strollers at Disney until they are stuffed in and hanging out. My kids rode until 5 but I know I saw some last trip that had to be close to 9-10. My grandson is special needs and although he’s still little he has low muscle tone and will need one longer.

    Rider Swap

You don’t need a FP to do the rider swap. You all go up and the second group will be given a time to return - it is not all day more like an hour. The first group will go through the standby line. When they return, the second group goes through the FP line to use their swap.

    Stroller as wheelchair and transportation

Unless it is an adaptive stroller with tie downs it will need folded as it would be unsafe to tie down.

Buena Vista Scooters are horrible. What an awful day.

We’ve rented from them 4 times and never had a problem. They even brought a new one to AK when one was acting up and not holding a good charge. Hopefully you can get this taken care of tomorrow.

What is the best use for "extra" child TS credits (on DDP)?

QS credits are not separated by adults/kids. Any meal can be purchased. I’m not sure what you can do with extra child TS - maybe have another meal and pay oop for the adults.

    Organ Transplants and Disney

My grandson had a heart transplant at 4 months old - he turned 3 in March. We went to Disney last September and will be going in November. We masked him in close places and on busses. We drove but if we fly he has to masked for the flight and airport. He wears sunscreen daily year round.

Rental ECV Battery Range; Spare battery; in-park charge times

I’ve rented from Buena Vista the last 4 trips. The only time my battery got low was when I forgot to charge it overnight. Otherwise the battery meter was still almost full by days end and we always spend longer than 6 hours in the parks. I now have a personal scooter just like the one I’ve...

Where did your 2 year old sleep?

Must have been there a while ago. The trundles are no more. Now there are Murphy beds and they are at least the height of the beds.

Big Kid in a stroller (please don't flame me!)

A healthy 7 year old should be able to walk. I’m not even sure they make strollers for a child that big - maybe a special needs stroller.

Stroller for almost 9 yr old and a 6 yr old?

I don’t think at those ages I would give them a choice. Unless there’s a disability, they walked or we headed to the resort.

    Still confused about buses

We used the ramp every bus ride with my grandsons adaptive stroller. He has the Hoggi Bingo Evolution with tie downs. Once the 3 metal trays are on it can’t be folded. The trays are heavy - I can’t imagi taking it apart and putting it back together each time.
