Plan for 7(ish) days with toddler

I wanted to add we attempted almost every trip to have him nap in the stroller. Our kid never naps in the stroller, even as a small baby he just never did. If your kid can nap we found several areas, including the baby center, at each park where we would have stayed in the park and let him rest...

Plan for 7(ish) days with toddler

We have been taking our son since he was about 6 months old. We count on doing a few days in the park and usually a couple days outside of the park. Similar to the poster above we set our FPs to be the first half of the day and when he still napped, we counted on returning to the hotel after...

    Soy Milk

Our toddler has a milk allergy that he has thankfully started to grow out of. However, for the last four years we have taken him to WDW. Our experience has been SOW milk was found easily at the moderate food courts (where we usually stay). But they are the small sizes and were last year about...

To do or not to do 11month old..

We have taken our son several times since he was 5 months old. The first time we went in the winter. It was a great trip, we flew (short flight only a couple hours). We setup some fast passes, only did magic kingdom and spent the rest of the time at the resort with our son and pools. He loved...

Magic Band on 3 and 4 year old

We just did a combo of taking the grey part off to get the band to fit on our three year old son and daddy holding onto it the band throughout the parks. Our son didn't want it on the whole time.

    Last Minute ADR Success Stories?

Just saw an 8:20am Cinderella Castle show up for this Monday. We aren't using it, just saying some can be very last minute.

    Disney for a Three-Year Old

We look at it as a vacation for us and much as our son. He is 3 and we are going next week. He has been 3 times before but he doesn't remember it. I like it because I like theme parks and enjoy resorts a lot. I also find it nice where he can just be a kid without too much hassle, and Disney has...

    Last Minute ADR Success Stories?

I don't think i am doing more reservations but I always check just in case i want to swap one. I noticed Chef Micky and Crystal Palace started to show today for the first time and we arrive next week. I am sure it as everyone says, people are making their final decisions and releasing.

Baby carrier required on any rides?

I held my son when he was 6 months old, no carrier required in 2014. No one asked me to make him face forward but maybe we never went on those rides.

Give up a park day for the pool... why?!

I don't really consider it an "off" day. It is just part of our vacation. We select our resorts accordingly because we know we want to relax at them at least a couple days. The Parks are just part of a great vacation, not the only part, for some people.

    Last Minute ADR Success Stories?

I only booked about 7 weeks in advance. We go Oct 23. I have a toddler who is a picky eater and isn't always a great eater. So I had ruled out character dining, just wouldn't be worth it if he is ready to go in 20mins, but had hopes for perhaps a breakfast somewhere. Picked up BOG for an early...

    Peter pans flight mk

When we took our son as a baby, he loved it. I don't think its worth a long wait, but he just liked all the things around him. He also liked other rides though so I wouldn't wait an hour for it.

Afternoon naps with a 2.5 year old logistics

My son wouldn't nap in a stroller both times we visited. So we just ended up leaving the parks midday to nap with hopes of coming back. Which didn't actually end up happening when he was 1 and 2. Hoping it will work (or he will sleep in the stroller this trip). However, I found the baby center...

How long for a first trip with little kids?

I should add my son won't sleep in a stroller, never really has. So if yours will that gives you a bit more flexibility too!

How long for a first trip with little kids?

My son is 3 and we have taken him to WDW at 6 months, 2 years old, and now again at 3 next month. I think it really depends on the kid. For us, we do 2 days in the parks. Rest of it at the resort and Disney Springs. We stay one week, so usually 6 to 7 nights. He has a great time and is just as...
