ESPN, Fox and Warner Bros. Discovery to launch joint sports streaming platform this year

Feel like this only makes sense if Bally Sports goes under and MLB/NHL local markets can move to over-the-air/ESPN rather than Amazon picking them up for streaming. If so, you'd have sufficient coverage of NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL (would need a digital antenna to get local CBS/NBC affiliates)...

New restaurant featuring Indian cuisine now open at Disney Springs

Excited for this to open...but if I know Disney-area restaurants, it'll have a good menu for the first 3 months before they trim it down drastically and bland it up. In other words...get there quick.

    Disney World Resorts Struggling

All this tells me is that there's still lots of people (almost full capacity) willing to pay close to top dollar for a peak season WDW vacation, which directly contradicts the rumor.

*The Official VILLAS AT DISNEY'S GRAND FLORIDIAN RESORT & SPA Owners & Lovers Group*

Walked it this morning. Due to construction, the path crosses the main road and back again 100 yards later. Not really a relaxing walk with the road traffic and construction noise. So yes, still walkable, but really kills the ambience.

*The Official VILLAS AT DISNEY'S GRAND FLORIDIAN RESORT & SPA Owners & Lovers Group*

Staying at VGF starting on 2/11. Thankfully our Magic Kingdom day is 2/12. I was already a bit ticked at having a more inconvenient walk over to the Poly...but I would've been pretty upset if I couldn't walk to MK. Fingers crossed the timing works out.

Should I stay or should I go, aka Which resort for a 2br at 7 mo?

First off, if you like have the kitchen/doing laundry, then I'd avoid Poly. I think while you may certainly request adjacent studios, the whole process would be more hassle than it's worth for what it seems your family values in the resort. In order to evaluate the others, how important is the...

    2023 Moonlight Magic Dates

...apparently my 2194 isn't as dire as I thought. My last MM registration, I think I was #600 or something so I wasn't concerned at all.

    2023 Moonlight Magic Dates

Our trip overlaps with the 2/15 EPCOT MM, so I'll make a point to try and go. Attended an AK MM pre-COVID and had a great time. IIRC, they used to print a small pamphlet that detailed the snack offerings/characters/activities for MM magic events once you walked in. If they do that again, I'll...

    FYI Annual Pass Sales Halted

I am in the exact same boat (even living in NC). At this point, I just purchased day park passes to make park reservations and hope to upgrade before/during our actual trip.

    Hilton Head Golf

Also, not sure how I forgot to mention this, but Bear Creek is quite affordable. I've also heard Golden Bear isn't too bad either (never played there).

    Hilton Head Golf

I have some insight here as well. Yes, courses will be open in February (courses are open year round pretty much anywhere south of Virginia). Carts are required pretty much everywhere, unless it's a late afternoon tee time and then some are walk til dusk. As far least expensive go, in the...

Saratoga Springs or Kidani non savannah view

Since it's a non-Savanna room, I'd go SSR. It depends on the demographic of the trip though. Are there kids going? How old are they? Are you hitting the parks every day? Do you want to go to Disney Springs? Do you plan on doing any swimming at the pool? I like to go to Disney Springs, which...

    If you were me.....

If you're using your own transportation and not spending any days at the resort, then AKV should be eliminated immediately. I love AKV, but it's a waste of points to get Savanna view if you aren't going to spend at least a couple half days at the resort to watch the animals from your balcony...

    DVD players in DVC rooms?

Reviving this thread simply to say that I'm staying at SSR currently (1BR) and there's no DVD/Blu Ray player in the room. Otherwise, LOVE the renovation. Really glad to see the bathroom tile get an update.
