Autism lawsuits to continue on appeal

I think the over reaching issue is that there isn't just one or even two or three ways to accommodate every single disability in a manner that causes the disabled person the least amount of waiting/trauma/unhappiness/effort. It's just impossible. Disney has two methods for dealing with...

I've stopped making ADRs because of the credit card policy, anyone else?

Hasn’t deterred me in the slightest.

    Cancel Trip?

I have to be honest. I wouldn’t go against a doctor’s advice for vacation.

An open letter to Disney about mandatory room checks.

I get housekeeping every day because I like a cleaned room. So, for me it’s always been “will enter” and I plan accordingly. I lock up my valuables or don’t bring them. I pick up my socks and underwear. When I’m in the room, I use the bar lock. Because I expect that someone can come in at any...

Stroller for almost 9 yr old and a 6 yr old?

Mine didn’t need one at those ages. I wouldn’t bring one. I’d rent if I found they needed one.

An open letter to Disney about mandatory room checks.

I guess I find it interesting that people haven’t considered that any hotel could actually opt to enter your room at any time. Disney is just telling you they will. I have no idea if someone has come into my room when I’m out. And, even when I’ve had the DND sign up at multiple hotels, I’ve had...

    Breakfast Ideas

My kiddos like pop tarts (gross, I know, but it's vacation and they certainly get a lot of exercise). We did bagels with cream cheese and peanut butter. Yogurt. Granola bars. Small boxes of dry cereal.

Rivers of Light Package Restaurant Options Recommendation

My husband and I did Tiffin's. It was delicious and a very good experience. Our waiter was excellent. However, it is a slow paced meal (as it should be) so if that would bother you as a solo diner, keep that in mind.

    Shoe Recommendation for Boys

My teen and tween brings a couple of pairs of comfortable tennis shoes. We bring a pair of flip flops for the pool.

    Tusker House

We had breakfast there. We really liked it. If you have a lot of picky eaters, they may be underwhelmed, but more adventurous eaters will probably like it.

What's up with De-theming the Resort Rooms?

I like the updates. They're tasteful and look much cleaner and less cluttered. I like the updates to Pop. The old rooms looked horrendous. Nearly all hotels at all price points have ditched the busy, polyester comforters and drapes.

Dining options, my 6 year old loves to dance!

Yes! You want the biergarten, OP! Lots of room and ability to dance your little heart out.

    Nemo show at AK

We saw it for the first time on our November trip. Everyone in our party (6 to 60) thought it was great. Absolutely worth a try.

Anyone else here NOT in the holiday spirit?

Sometimes, you have to fake it until you feel it. Sometimes, you have to hurt people's feelings a little regarding their expectations and you're abilities. You sound really tapped, OP. Do you think hosting the dinner would make you feel better in the end? Or not. If you think once you get...

    WWYD?

I was thinking that as an adult they might be planning to invite older ds separately. The save the date came to OP, Spouse and Child, but there wasn't a reason to double up the save the date for the adult child still at home. I'd hold off until the invitations come before passing any judgement.
