Sci Fi/Fantasy books for 13 year old boy

A lot of the fantasy books I really enjoyed are a little older but I really enjoyed them. The Bartimaeus Series This series cracks me up. I just re-read it recently and it still makes me laugh. Jurassic Park Great science fiction, however it is a lot more violent than the movie. Eragon Another...

    Movies you just can't watch

^^^ Augh, This right here. Absolutely disgusting and unnecessary. I can't really watch anything that's intensely grotesque and gory, so that rules out a lot of horror movies. I'll make a few exceptions if I really like the story enough, like Stephen King's IT.

    Irrational fears, what is yours?

Dark water and sunken shipwrecks. Although I find it fascinating (and I love the movie), seeing pics of the Titanic make me panic.

What has been your most memorable experience on public transport?

I used to take the bus to and from work a few years ago. There was a guy that tended it sit next to me in the mornings that had no sense of personal space. It was really uncomfortable but I was under the impression that it was because we had little to no space in general (silly me). I tried to...

    Not Ready For Autumn

I already celebrated Christmas in July and now I'm ready for fall and cooler weather (although in NC that doesn't really happen until late October if we're lucky). I already made a super cute mickey wreath for fall, but that won't be hung up until the first day of autumn.

What made you decide to eat/drink the last thing you ate/drank?

A bowl of salad with balsamic vinegar dressing because a.) I need to start eating healthier and b.) I've been craving it since my wedding reception last week. I was not disappointed. I'm going back for seconds.

    Disney World during Thanksgiving

What should I expect (aside from crowds)? What are some of your tips? What are some of you favorite things to do? It's just DH and I and another married couple, so it's basically an adults only trip.

What do you wish you could tell someone?

I'm sorry. I'm sorry for the way things turned out in the end. I'm sorry that I wasn't trustworthy enough for you to open up to me until the very end. I'm sorry I wasn't a better person. However, I must say thank you as well. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have learned the things that I know...
