Does anyone have any experience with the Ship Shape Salon and hair cuts? Specifically ladies hair cut. The good, the bad?

    Hair Salons

Thank you Thank you for that. All three of those will be handy to me as we are staying in each area. There doesn't seem to be any information on the WDW website, no price lists or detailed services offered so was having trouble finding information. Does anyone have any experience with...

    Hair Salons

Don't have time to get my hair done before we go away and we are at WDW for almost 3 weeks, so thought I may treat myself to a hair cut at a salon at WDW. Are there any resorts that have a hair salon? If so, does anyone have a review of them? Specifically for a ladies hair cut/style? Would...

Ale and Compass, when will it open ????

I have booked a breakfast and a lunch. I like the new menu and looking forward to trying it. I Will miss the breakfast buffet of Captains Grille though. It was really nice having the buffet choice or menu choice so some in the group could buffet and some could menu.

Official Disney Cake Chatter - Part V!

Thank you so much for that. That is lovely and using this school colours is a great idea. Our schools in Australia graduate in November (The school year in Australia is end of Jan/ Early February to End Nov/Early December) so our big summer school break is December/January.

Ale and Compass, when will it open ????

We are going Nov/Dec and I too am waiting for Ale and Compass to open up. Captain's Grille was one of our favourites and our go to breakfast (we prefer TS to CS) when we stayed at YC, so hoping that Ale and Compass is open by the end of November and that it's as great as Captains Grille was.

Official Disney Cake Chatter - Part V!

Any ideas for a high school graduation cake? (male). I'd really like a graduation theme. Can't really see any pics posted or any past posts on HS graduation cakes. We are staying CR, AKL and BC so can order from any if one would be better than another.

Where would you eat for Christmas Day at Disneyland?

Blue Bayou is awesome for kids. My son has been going there since he was 4 years old and has loved it. It's awesome, sitting "outside" but really inside and watching the Pirates ride. It's definitely child friendly.

    Dining at Disneyland

Yes, it's no where near as difficult to get dining reservations at Disneyland. You can even get some about an hour or two before so that you don't have to wait in line if you decide last minute to dine somewhere. Exception to this would be Blue Bayou (which is a must do for us). I'd get booking...

Where would you eat for Christmas Day at Disneyland?

I would go to Storytellers or Goofy's Kitchen (although I don't know if they are open for lunch, it is usually brunch and dinner, but they may open for lunch on Christmas day). If you were in the parks Blue Bayou would be nice. They would be my picks for Christmas Day. Although you will...

Need Transfer Recommendations for DL, Hollywood and NYC

We were in Anaheim for almost 4 months and didn't have a car. We use Sunny's Transportation (affordabletowncarservices.com) regularly (including LAX transfers and just generally around Anaheim/So Cal area). They were excellent and cheaper than LanSky too (I did use them once).

    Missing Luggage Tags :(

Yes have done this (as they don't send the luggage tags to international bookings so we never get them in Australia). I've done it two ways, gone and given them the airline bag tags and description and they have claimed them for us and delivered to the hotel. We've also had missing bags which...

Refund for prepaid booking on expired card help.

Complicated story but hope someone will know the answer. Booked Mickey's Backyard BBQ. Prepaid on a credit card (not a prepaid debit) (hadn't added reservation or dining plan at that stage). I now want use my dining plan credits to pay, which I think I can organise on the night and they will...

    Nov/Dec 17 no resort availability?!

It has been like that for at least 2 months maybe longer. I was looking to add another room to our already booked trip (booked 6 months ago) and couldn't find anything. The odd one would pop up but in the end we decided not to bother. But yes, I was wondering what was going on with the...

Any Aussie's have AP's for DisneyWorld?

I have had the Premier pass. I had a Disneyland pass to start and then went to WDW and upgraded it to the Premier pass. Was worth it for us as we did 2 weeks at DL and 3 weeks at WDW. Got AP discounts on accommodation for the 3 weeks, dined OOP so saved a lot on food...
