Every time I book an ADR someone posts a negative thread!

We do DxDP and try many restaurants. We have always had a good time. While there are some that are our favs and some we wont be back to....we enjoyed them all. We look at the menus and where we are to be and choose what appeals to us. I will add that because we have had such posiitive...

    First week in August

We will be there august 1-9. We are from Texas so used to heat. We usually do rope drop, long ts lunch, break at resort, then back to parks. This year my kids are older and don't want to break at the resorts...so we plan to take it easy after lunch...ac attractions. We'll see how it goes.

How many ADRs is too many? How many TS Meals do you plan?

We go in summer (August this year) and do a TS lunch and dinner. We rope drop and use the TS lunch to regroup and get out of the heat and hydrate. We enjoy a sit down dinner too. Going to the restaurants is part of the experience for us.

Is it better to book an ADR for too many people or for too few?

If your party is smaller than the one booked, will they charge you a no show fee for the missing people? I have a similar issue ...not sure if 3 or 4 people, so I did 3 thinking that a table for three would be able to accommodate 4 and not wanting to be charged if the 4th was not able to make...

    Surprised to love the Contemporary!

CR is my family's favorite for sure. Stayed in garden wing a few times and once was upgraded to tower club level water view (wow). Going to WL next time due to budget constraints. Glad you had a great trip.:)

Thought Process When Choosing Your Dining Plan?

We love DxDP. My kids are older now (15 and 19) and they still love DxDP. When they were young we enjoyed a no line in A/C way to meet characters and entertainment. We do a sit down at lunch and dinner as a respite with lots of signatures. Lots of great memories and the restaurants are so fun.

We really like DxDP. We rope drop, sit down lunch during hot and crowded time, and signature dinner. We really enjoy the signatures. Kids love getting to try different things and desserts. They also enjoy the refillable mug and getting any they want (so many goodies all over the place). we load...

    Best Resort Table Service Dinner

We like lots of places around the monorail at the resorts. We have stayed on the monorail several times and did the dining plan. CG is probably our favorite and a must do for every trip (sometimes twice). We like the Wave, Kona, bar at Poly, Narcoosies, Citricos (love the live music in the...

Spending time at the Resort questions

We have taken mostly summer trips when kids are out of school. Rope drop (cooler and no lines) then break around noon for sit down lunch (we stay a deluxe hotel and do DxDP) go back to resort for resort time and then out for evening dinner and parks. This year my DS is 19 and my DD is 15 and...
