Is it true that if you want more of your entrée you can get another helping? I watched a video of The Tim Tracker eating there and they said you could. Just couldn't change entrees from what you originally ordered. Anyone have this experience?

When I googled hotels in Lorton a Holiday Inn popped up. When I went to the site it said it wasn’t open yet. I am assuming it was sold. I am at a Wingate in Springfield. Not bad and only $99.

We are getting on Auto Train in Lorton today. We spent the night at Wingate in Springfield. I believe the Comfort Inn in Lorton is closed. I think the train is pretty full. It’s just me and my DH. We have a roomette. We are spending some time with relatives and will be checking in at Pop...

I wouldn't worry. I feel it was just bad luck. I booked another trip yesterday RI to NYC to Orlando for Aug 2018. Cuts out the 7 hr drive to AutoTrain. But we will have to rent a car.

Not nearly as bad as our trip north in Sept. We arrived at booth around 1:00 and were told the southbound train hadn't arrive yet due to delays but would be in at 2:00 and there is a 4-5 hour turn around time. I was upset that we weren't notified about delay which would have given us the option...

Can you still book beyond those dates and still get FD as long as one or more of those days is included? Thanks!

I saw that too. I am going 9/14. I decided to take the Amtrak Silver Meteor the whole way, RI to Orlando and get a rental car. It was at cheapest rate.
