“Frozen Ever After Dessert Party” with Fireworks Viewing and After-Close Attraction Ride

Has anyone called about this party recently? I know a couple of people talked to CMs about it last week, I’m curious if anyone’s talked to anybody this week.

I talked with three DVC cast members yesterday, two of whom were helpful. They both told me they don't know anything, lol! The show may not be scheduled at this time cause of other activities, but they could not tell me why it was not opened after August yet, other than that guess.

I noticed that everything disappeared for a while too. But it happened with HEA also. Seems like it’s all back up normal now. Still no Sept dates for FEA though.

then in what way were they helpful? lol. I do find the DVC CMs to be in general more helpful than the general line though!

At this point I can’t change around our EPCOT days so hoping an early September Thurs or Monday night with no evening EMH will pan out. I’ve got a Sunday night option if I want to add on another single day park ticket for DD7 and myself, but I don’t have (or need) park hoppers.

I sure do appreciate all the info and experience provided in these forums. It’s also nice to see I’m not the only “super planner” out there. :)

Hope everyone gets the dates they were hoping for once they are released!

At least they were being honest.

Yes, they were honest, which I appreciate. But they took time, looked, talked to other CM's and were willing to chat to me about it, which makes me feel helped, even if I don't get the answer I'm looking for. The first CM was just like "it's not available, sorry" which is fine, that's honest as well, but I like feeling helped. Ya know what I mean?

Surely Disney must be missing out when they release the dates so late. I'm sure there's people who only checks once or twice and then doesn't bother when it's not there, or they might have already planned their days so they can't fit in a party when it finally does get released.

I’m antsy, as you all are as well, that this may not work out in my favor. So, if I’m not able to get this Dessert Party on my desired night, I’m gonna book one of the parties at MK. But which one? Is the Terrace seating worth the added cost? Off topic, I know, but I’m looking for advice!:offtopic:

In my opinion, the plaza garden viewing is MUCH better and cheaper. You get a better view of the show from the plaza garden area, and again, it's cheaper. In my experience, we were able to sit down at the back of the garden viewing area pretty much the entire time...I don't recall if we had to stand when the show started or not. Either way, there was much more room in there to move around than outside the roped off area and a better view than under the terrace.

I haven't done it yet myself, I'm doing it for the first time as well. From the feedback I've read from people that have done the terrace view, it seems like the view is good, but off centre from the terrace and I'm not sure if you can see the projections very well. I suppose it depends if you prefer to sit during the show or if you're alright standing. But it sounds like the garden isn't too crowded and sometimes people there sit for the show as well, but it's not a guarantee as there's often people who decides to stand.

Thank you! I don’t mind standing, so I’m thinking we’ll do the Garden. Only time I’ve ever stayed seated for fireworks was the last time we saw Wishes; no one stood up! It was amazing!

There's another thread for the HEA fireworks if you want to join in the discussion there, or read reviews from other peoples experiences. One tip I've read from several people doing the garden view is to grab a spot at the very back to the right side. The reason for that is that even though people are pretty spread out as most are sitting while waiting for the show, when it starts most people stand up and goes as far to the front as possible, leaving the back wide open. Also there's a railing at the back you can lean against while watching if you're standing.

We had no issues whatsoever seeing the projections, and in my opinion the view is much better than the terrace due to the limitations of the ceiling of the terrace.

This was pretty much exactly our experience. We sat at the back against the railing, and it was fantastic.

Is it safe to assume they will not be having a Frozen Party on October 25th at EPCOT since they are having the pass holder event??? Wish they would just release already so I can plan accordingly
