2018 Free Dining Watch Thread V3

Has anyone ever booked 2 rooms separately on line to get free dining and then have them combined. Our party needs to rooms because we have several children and they need to be adjoining.
We have done this many years ago, but not out of necessity. Our situation was just a request because we wanted my parents to have a room connected to ours so that my kids could have room to “spread out” when they were little. I was told back then to request “connecting” rooms in order to have them truly connected with a door in between; “adjoining” was said to simply mean beside one another but not necessarily connected. I’m fairly certain that this is still the correct way to make the type of request you desire, and it is as simple as having the notation added later.:)
 


I have been reading along and waiting anxiously with everyone. I am hoping for POP in September. My TA will be dealing with the chaos and I will be having a nervous breakdown :badpc: waiting for her email!! Hopefully we will semi-normal again in a few days!

I am in Minnesota (I know, dang close to Canada) and it defaults me to Canada often. I then need to click where it says "Canada (English)" at the top of the WDW website and then select "United States (English)" in order to see all 10 offers.
Really? I'm from MN too (SW metro) and I've only had one issue where it defaulted me to UK offers. The Disney World website can be so glitchy!
 
Another "how often will check for FD" question.

So on Monday, some of you said you'll start checking at 3am EST at intervals of 5 -15 minutes. When do you stop? When do you say, okay, it's not happening today, I'll try again Tuesday morning?

Usually by 7am when the phones open up someone will have reported that the call center says there is no new promo today.
 
Anyone know what the RO discounts usually are? We’ve done FD for the past three years and I’ve become addicted to it! This year though we have comp 4 day PH tickets, so we can’t get FD. Boo! I need to be a part of it somehow so figured paying OOP for dining and doing a Room discount may make me feel that way! lol!
 
I’m going with a Tuesday drop! Twitter SA said they were certain it was Tuesday. That being said the Beast has a very early flight out of Dulles tomorrow and I told him to wake me up before he leaves at 3:30am! Lol
 
So, someone on ******* said that TA’s or CM’s we’re talking about special training Monday morning. Could mean a Tuesday morning drop.
Disney will typically bring in everyone they can when a big offer is going to drop, so knowing there is chatter of that is a very good sign. If it’s Monday they are talking then get a nap today because I’m not sure what training they can do to prepare for an all out phone ringing blitz than to just drop the offer and let people answer the phones!!!!!
